Rita, That is what we all miss, isn't it? I have been very surprised at the daylilies. I am not surprised with new ones, and I pinch those scapes out. Emerald Starburtst and Red Slippers both put up new scapes, but to have an established one do it is different to say the least. I actually have a few places for spring...usually with plants I intended to SP and didn't get around to. The hard freeze we had bit back the zinnias in the iris bed, but didn't kill them. The big ones from last year succomed to it, and I have pulled them up and thrown them on the burn pile. They are total seed factories! The duranta erectas were not hurt by the frost which was unexpected. I had covered the one in the pot, and plan to move it to the greenhouse soon. But I though the one in the ground would die. Not so! The Mandevillas did die, but I had already decided to just replace them next year. It is warm and lovely now. Weather is a constant change! kay

And I can't begin to tell you how much your courage and strength through-out this terrible ordeal has touched me. Thanks for your input folks. Rosemary extract would also be "out". I can't give my epi dog that (hey, I can't use PineSol anymore either). It's considered to be a seizure trigger by the Epi Guardian Angel's list (big kudos to that list also for anyone with a seizure dog, please google it if your dog has seizures or epilepsy). By the way Mazer, no I do NOT EVER use grocery brand dogfood -- EVER. I am a huge proponent for holistic feeding of animals. I stick with California natural due to my Mocha's allergies and epilepsy (89 lb dog). I can't even feed Innova even though I find that Naturapet products are very sound. He just can't tolerate a high variety. Before I had the rest of my dogs, I just had the one and home cooked. When I got the others, my freezer couldn't handle the load (I'm not a raw fan, though its great for some). I guess I'll stick with Cali. However, I would probably reccommend Lassie as a lesser of MANY evils over many of the other commercial foods out there for those that are financially challenged. You guys are great! Thanks. Since all my dogs eat together, it just makes sense for me to feed them all the same thing. There's no *practical* way to feed those four monsters separately given that one would be eating Cali (sort of bland -- 3 ingredients) while feeding the other 3 something else. (Hey there's a reason we all love junk food. It's like feeding 3 children Happy Meals while feeding a 4th a bowl of tofu. LOL).

So for those who are interested, I did some elevations for the inside too. Just for some of the details to show my builder. these were done in photoshop by me so are not 100. the first one is the divider between the kitchen/dining and the great room. Yes I know that all natural wood is more craftsman but I wanted a lighter look and paint grade is a lot less expensive than furniture grade moldings. Especially since my wood of choice is cherry. Yes the columns will also be triangular like the porch columns. :) the fireplace wall is opposite the kitchen entry and that wall will be cherry. there will be handmade tile around the fireplace. I am considering doing a coffered ceiling in the living room again using paint grade and then painting the ceiling itself in a color. I'm not sure yet whether I'll go with a picture rail or a frieze board. I'm leaning towards the frieze board. Crown molding will be simple to work with the rest of the moldings. Maybe this for crown molding.
