Cooking terms used on British TV shows?

I just discovered shows like 'Britain's Best Home Cook' on hulu and have been enjoying watching them. I'm sometimes completely stumped by the terminology though! I tried to look them up but didn't get very far. Two that are sticking with me:

What exactly does "chocolate pudding" mean in Britain? My best guess is "any chocolate dessert that is not a cake"?!

What is/are [sounds phonetically like she's saying] "pozits"? and I believe she made a comment about her "pozits" setting. lol!
