Help picking out paint color for bath (pics)

We've got a small bath that we're doing a mini-makeover on. Unfortunately, we have to keep the tile on the floor which I am not really a fan of. It has some greens, blues and greys in it, thus I'm having a really hard time matching any paint to it.

The room is painted a light beige right now, and it's pretty bland. I want something that makes the pedestal sink "pop" a bit, but not something too dark. Most of the colors in the house are cool -- light blues, greys and Silver Sage. I generally avoid warm colors but I've tried a few different grays but none of them seem to work. Would a warmer shade work better in here?

I'd love to hear thoughts as to what color might work in here and play off the tile. Here's the tile:

And a few colors I've tried - RH's Silver Sage on the far right, then RH Pumice to the left of it.

I don't know how it looks in person, but the diluted version doesn't look bad to me. Also, the color to the right of the mirror looks good.

Wow!!! LOVE your master bath!!!! It is gorgeous. I too have been inspired by Mrs. Limestone's renovations. You did a fantastic job. I love your floor in particular. Would you mind sharing the manufacturer, etc? Your wall colors, and materials are so soothing. This makes me REALLY want to start our master bath renovation! Waaaahhhhh!!! I don't want to wait any more. But we recently added on to the house, renovated the kitchen, converted a 1/2 bath into a 3/4 bath, etc. etc. and now I must wait to do more. But when we do, I'm hoping to fit a tub, shower and double sinks like you did. Could you tell me about your tub? The dimensions in particular. TIA Well done. In the spirit of "speak now or forever hold your peace"--and assuming you aren't past the point of no return--I just want to say that I don't like how your backsplash choice plays with the granite. It could just be the pic or my monitor, but the colors don't quite work together. And the small format tile seems overly busy for the granite. I like the cabs with the counter, and I like the cabs with the backsplash, but not the backsplash with the counter. Sorry for the unsolicited opinion. And if you are past the point of no return...I'm sure it will be fine. On the subject of paint, I was thinking a lilac pink could maybe work...until I looked at BM Lilac Pink (are you looking at BM colors? You didn't say). Wow, that is really pink, and really quite a dark pink. And a saturated pink. I used BM's color viewer to pair it with a the Ivory Tower and gold along the lines of what is in your granite. I had Amulet stand in for the gold, and Clydesdale Brown for the cabinets. I didn't think that the Lilac Pink worked--it's a color that would work better in smaller quantities, like a lamp rather than a wall (vivid colors can be overwhelming on large surfaces). I did find some pinks that I thought would work: Rosewood, Pink panther, Rose Silk, Mauve Mist, Victoriana, Damask Rose, Hidden Sanctuary, and Hazy Lilac (more purple).

It is funny, but I did not change the garage door color. I used MS Paint and it did weird things to the roof too. Looking at it here, it seems like I made the top part brown.... I'd either do the garage door with the 2 light tones or keep it all white. I'd paint it last to see how it looks white first with the new house color. When I was working on the mock up, the lavender was either too strong or too light. I went with too light because the next step up was garish. Our lavender is sometimes very subtle, but when you see the nearby white, you realize it is not white too. It also looks different as the light changes throughout the day. I'll try to take an exterior pic of our house tomorrow. The landscaping needs a major trim, but the blooming trees out front are at their best. I work from my office Thurs-Sun and from home Mon-Wed (much fewer hours), so can do some work on them in the a.m. and take a neater photo ;) Although, it sounds like it is raining outside at the moment...

I prefer a satin. I like a glow to my wood so that I can tell if it needs cleaning or not. Only a homeowner can decide on gloss level. A 'shiny-clean' person (someone who believes clean means shiny and vice verse) will never accept a matte or even a satin. The LACK of gloss will drive them INSANE. Semi-gloss is as low as they can go and still feel good after they clean their floors. The rest of do well with satin. Matte can be a nightmare to live with. Oils are SHINIER than the matte. Which means skin oils, cooking oils, paw oils, etc will all show up on a matte floor. Many people feel like a slave to their floors when they work with matter (or glossy...the extremes are always hard to live with).

The tile looks pretty flexible. You could do a muted blue gray or green, warm or cool grays, browns. I think a soft terra cotta color would be a nice contrast, playing off the blue. It could also be a striking offset to the adjoining areas depending on what you've got going there.

If this is a powder room, you can go bolder in color, like a deep blue. Terra cotta would also go well with the tile.

thanks for the input! It's a 3/4 bath with a shower and will be my younger daughter's bathroom as she gets older.

Terra cotta wasn't a color I had thought about but might be nice with the reddish tones in the tile. I need to do a search for some inspirational photos!

I looked at terra cotta samples and I'm not sure they work with the light in there.

We painted a small bath in our first house years ago a caramel color (I think it might have been a Ralph Lauren color??) For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the paint and of course I left the can of paint at the house when I sold it. Does anybody recognize this color? I looked online at the RL colors but can't seem to find it.

Its a beautiful tile. Check out SW Slow Green, it might go very well with you tiles. Good luck.

We have slate in our master bath (which your tile mimics) and we went with SW Sea Salt, it's a very light gray with a greenish undertone. Looks blue in some lighting too. To match my colors I found the lightest gray in our stone to color match with and that's what you can do as well. I see a sliver of gray in one of your photos, I would get a fan deck from SW or BM and try to match that color.

I bought some more paint and have a few more options - yes, I am indecisive :)

Option 1 is "Brown Teepee" by Behr. It is a caramel-ish brown. I like it, but my husband is afraid it might be too flesh toned and warm for the adjacent bedroom, which is a cool grey-ish blue.

Option 2 is called "Stony Mountain". It's a very light greenish-beige.

Brown Teepee is on the left; Stony Mtn on right. Opinions are appreciated! Many thanks for your input :)
