Flexstel sofa and love seat?
Comments (16)Manufacturers want you to work through their dealer network. They do not want to establish a working relationship with a customer as that usually ties up their office staff for hours on end. It would be like calling GM in Detroit and asking for a brochure for a Silverado pickup. Go to your local dealer where they can get things for you promptly and answer your questions. Manufacturers are also keenly aware of internet price shopping and want to keep their local dealers solvent. Therefore they don't do things like list all the dealers on their national website, don't send fabric or leather swatches, and sometimes will not send out photos or catalogs. Everyone has a job to do, and the local dealer's job is to work with the retail customer. Another thing too, is email can be overwhelming (if you even make it through their spam filters). Most manufacturers right now under NOT doing well, and are asking their employees to do more and more in a workday - not hiring a lot of office staff. Answering email from retail customers is right at the bottom of the list of things that need to be done in a given day. -Duane...See MoreSofa and love seat or sofa and two chairs
Comments (33)Mtn, yes itâÂÂs an animal skin which is a dime a dozen now discounted on many sites. However it works for me because I already had the big carpet. I had a problem with the dominant color of the kitchen cabinets taking over in the open plan so the animal skin helped ground the living space. It also helped with blending the Fred Flintstone fireplace in the open dining room on far side. The ceiling fan works well! At first the decorative light surround thingy made a rattle noise when the fan was on high, which was very annoying. We just dabbed a tic of clear silicone on one section and that took care of it. I agree about the loveseat not always being useful which is why I went with a three seater and a four seater. I decided against a sectional because most people do not like the corner section as itâÂÂs hard to get out of. The other problem with a sectional was that if I wanted to lie down while husband was, my feet would be in his face during movie watching. He does not have a foot fetish so that wouldnâÂÂt work. For my needs we wanted two items that you could stretch out on for movies or watching series shows. But again, I think it all should be about how and whoâÂÂs using the room. Some people only have room for so much seating. I think where people go wrong on the sofa and loveseat thing is that the pieces are often way too bulky for the space....See MoreFound a couch/love seat, need reinforcement ASAP
Comments (21)KAT, I think you nailed it!! DH even commented tonight, when I was going through a circular from another store I stopped in (after seeing this couch set). he says to me, you like everything. And I tell you, I do, I mean really the only thing that I dont like is anything too big and poofy. I guess I'm just style impaired, not really knowing what is considered formal etc. I just see something and if it appeals to me, I like it. I told him, I guess I'm just not hard to please :) And yes, we do have pets, a big 75 lb pitbull dog who has made him sleeping area the patterned couch!! A teacup chihuhua (who doesnt get on the furniture unless she is put there and 5 cats, who dont lay around too much on the couches, except at night, I have throws EVERYWHERE. I did just get an experimental packet of "soft claws" they are pretty cool, not sure that I'll have any willing participants, but I'll have to figure out the worst scratchers and attempt to apply them. and yes, I do have scratching posts all over so why they feel the need to stretch on my couch, I have no idea. one gets frisky on the rug but JUST underneath the coffee table, so I dont always see her. UGH. So I guess the consensus is to pass on this one and I will. I'll get DH to go out again next week and see if we cant find something at the other store. OR we may go back to the store in Macon and get there with more than 30 minutes to look around!!!! As always, thanks for your input and advice....See Morewhat combination of sofa ,love seat,and/or chairs will work here?
Comments (5)Just to get an idea of how or where you'd position a sofa, separate your sectional and play with positioning one piece. I'm a very visual person would need to see it in my space. Hopefully that help you get an idea of how it would fee. Get a couple chairs and position them where you think you might use them....See MoreBarbara C
