Please help me pick out paint colors

I don't trust my own judgment or that of anyone else in my family. The attached pic is of our cabinet (medium-tone cherry), backsplash (honey onyx), and granite (colonial gold). We are thinking of Ivory Tower as the main color and Lilac Pink as an accent wall (no cabinets/backsplash/granite on this wall). What do you think? Is the Lilac pink too out there? Any blues that you would recommend instead? We would like some color, but am overwhelmed with all the choices!

What is the grey at the bottom? I don't see a lilac pink or anything that is ivory. I do like your door and granite and backsplash though :)

Uroboros5, Sail-away, Dianalo, FKS3: thanks for the charcoal vote. I will be getting that one reframed. Can't wait to get that done. I've been dragging my feet to spend the $. Pupwhipped, Love it-what you said about Cleveland. I am going to cut that sucker down. Michoumonster, thanks for the fish vote but I probably wont go with that one. I think the size is right. It needs remounting. The print is a little stiff for me in this room I think, and I don't like all of the white background. I must be leaning towards more color. Sochi, I love those darned poppies, I've had it hung in that location for years in my UGLY old kitchen and didn't care one bit that it was large. Then, the white frame was ok because there was other white in the room. But now I agree that the frame is wrong. I don't know if the print would survive a reframing. Stacey, thanks for the tips and I will watch that Youtube video. I have been thinking I could even see if I could get a set of "paintings" out of the one. That might be too much. A simple single might be best with this print.

I second the green. I just painted a powder room with an oak vanity similar to the shade of your kitchen cabs. The color was SW Austere Gray and it's gorgeous with the oak. Don't be turned off by the name of the color. It's more green than gray, but it's such a lovely shade of green - not too yellow, not too blue - very soft and sophisticated. I used the SW Duration matte and the surface looks like velvet when dry. It's a very durable paint for heavy use places like kitchens. I probably wouldn't have stumbled onto the Austere Gray except for the fact that I was looking for a green that wasn't too yellow and wasn't too blue. I mixed some remnants of Grassland (more yellow) and Comfort Gray (more blue) together and I loved the resulting color. It was a perfect match to the Austere Gray. Looks like a beautiful home.

Mina, for in front of the windows, I'd consider Osmanthus.....'Goshiki' or O. delavayi or x burkwoodii.....or Pieris 'White Cascade'. For something lower growing and with lots of sun, Hebe 'Caledonia' (has that purple coloration you favor) or Hebe anomola 'Purpurea Nana'. I might do clusters of heuchera for some of the edging plants - they do exceptionally well in our climate, are evergreen, and come in a wide range of colors to compliment any of the other plantings. One of my favorites is 'Green Spice', which has marbled green foliage with darker veining that turns an intense burgundy color in winter. Or any of the dark colored ones if you wish to add more purple foliage. Many of these are Great Plant Picks selections so should be available at any of our better retail nurseries.

White Dove has to be one of the most popular white around, along with Simply White and Cloud White. I often check out the Benjamin Moore's Colonial Williamsburg collection when I want to change colors. I found a white called Capital White CW with a slightly creamy undertone compared to White Dove. Look at BM colors in this link: https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/color-overview/color-palettes/most-popular-colors Have you browsed Houzz white exteriors to see what is featured? (Sometimes they mention the exact color in the write up.) Here is one house with a brown roof - BM Ballet White - not white white, if that is what your leaning toward. Good luck.

In the spirit of "speak now or forever hold your peace"--and assuming you aren't past the point of no return--I just want to say that I don't like how your backsplash choice plays with the granite. It could just be the pic or my monitor, but the colors don't quite work together. And the small format tile seems overly busy for the granite. I like the cabs with the counter, and I like the cabs with the backsplash, but not the backsplash with the counter.

Sorry for the unsolicited opinion. And if you are past the point of no return...I'm sure it will be fine.

On the subject of paint, I was thinking a lilac pink could maybe work...until I looked at BM Lilac Pink (are you looking at BM colors? You didn't say). Wow, that is really pink, and really quite a dark pink. And a saturated pink. I used BM's color viewer to pair it with a the Ivory Tower and gold along the lines of what is in your granite. I had Amulet stand in for the gold, and Clydesdale Brown for the cabinets. I didn't think that the Lilac Pink worked--it's a color that would work better in smaller quantities, like a lamp rather than a wall (vivid colors can be overwhelming on large surfaces). I did find some pinks that I thought would work: Rosewood, Pink panther, Rose Silk, Mauve Mist, Victoriana, Damask Rose, Hidden Sanctuary, and Hazy Lilac (more purple).

Sorry about the gray bottom-that was not intentional. Yes, I'm looking for Benj, Moore paints. Thank you so much for the suggestions, I will look them all up! Yeah, we've got all the materials already. I guess if we hate, hate it we could change it later. It's a small galley kitchen, if that makes a difference.
