Put a piece of flooring (upstairs and down) and a couple bits of fireplace rock in a ziploc bag. Take them to the paint store, along with chips of everything you sampled and didn;t like, and ask their best color expert for advice. If that doesn't work, consider hiring a color expert to make a house call.

BTW, you may find it easier to choose a light blue or light green than a gray.

This is a giant project. I'd recommend you find a designer you can trust and one that you love. In my opinion to much contrast between black and white can be chilly. BTW I second 'apple-pie-order's recommending you ask for the best color expert. Best of Luck!

I realize that without seeing the floors, furniture, and my style it's very challenging to throw out paint colors. I am considering silver satin by Benjamin Moore as my main color throughout the home. Our home has an open floorplan, so I needed a color that is bright, but not too overpowering, can be paired with warm and cool tones, and still will give depth to the space. I feel it's a perfect choice. Now all I need to do is pick the colors for every other room in the house. 🤦‍♀️😂

Or Classic Gray - not blue at all. Silver Satin might look slightly blue in some kinds of light.

shady, if they lived in so cal, yes. but you can find massive lots like that in other states, build a home like that and barely spend 600K. So, yeah, the croc Hermes would be almost 1/6th that amount!
