March Wind is a pretty color, but, it looks more beige than it does gray. Also according to the website, it does have a purple undertone. I cant see purple on my monitor. With gray paint, you are much better off to bring home several samples, and paint them on poster paper, and move the poster paper around your room, at all times of day, and with all types of lighting. Also, probably a good idea to get the ceiling painted so that is done. That way, you will get a truer look when you put your samples around. Several years ago, I painted my living room gray. It looked totally green, when I was finished. Since, I dislike green paint, I repainted again the next day, and still ended up with a greenish look.. The third time, it all went good. I used a Valspar paint called London Mist. It actually is gray on my walls.

Thank you so much for the help cat_ky! I have painted about eight different colors of gray on my walls in both the kitchen and the living room and I’m struggling! Mindful gray is an option, but I am afraid it’s a little late for that living room. I am going to ask our painter to do the ceiling first and then pick out the gray paint but I’m not sure he will go for that. I’ll take a look at the London Mist paint also!
