Its a good idea to select paint colors based on fabrics and textiles. And before doing that, it is a good idea to upgrade your lighting so you're making choices in the right light. Most say 3500 to 4000K LEDs make for a daylight feeling. Decide what you're keeping (sofa, chairs, dining set???) & that will impact your choices for replacements/colors/textures.

Your couch and chairs are great, they can easily transition with your new space. I also think you should find a new area rug and work from there. While the ottoman still seems like it's in good shape, that is the one furniture piece I might change up to lighten the arrangement, something round. As for the paint color, SW Dower white is a high chroma white, some might even call it cream. If you want the trim to be more neutral, you will have to go with a more colorful wall color. But if you are happy with the trim being more colorful than the walls, something like SW Repose Gray might be a good contender. A lot depends on what you decide to do with the area rug and what direction you want to go in.

No faux finishing, and pick a light color that goes with your floors and your cabinets. The color you have now, doesnt really do that. White is on trend now, but, I would prefer to see, a pale sage green, or a pale blue green color and a new rug and new pillows.

My other thought is to go darker. Would a color like SW Urbane Bronze work?
