you have a lot going on w/diff textures. what's the wood above the largest garage? is that staying? doesn't seem to go w/anything what about the brick? Could you do Romabio on it? if you do, you could literally pick any color. Another poster on here had a similar house. they limed the brick (Romabio Masonry can be tinted any color) and did the other colors Isn't this an awesome after photo? notice the wood posts, copper awnings, new lighting, (I would have done carriage hardware on these garage doors, and replaced the faux victorian door, but the color is nice) That red brick is restricting your color choices. White dove would be very similar to the trim color you ahve. I would go darker. dark charcoals, navy, soft black, all look great w/red brick and the wood garage doors Urbane bronze on the trim, and a gray siding would get you this one. but the windows are also a dark bronze. trim yours dark if you want this look red brick w/what looks like Swiss Coffee and maybe SW Anonymous? Dorian Gray? I like how the gables are darker than the rest of the house. this one is a greenish gray trim, and a lighter griege base color

Thank you both! I do like the idea of improving the landscaping better and maybe just painting the garage doors, shutters and toning down the white keystones. Paint in same colors? (These pics were in the dead of winter. The lawn is greening up and the front bed and bed around the now leafy mature Burr Oak are full of tall flowering purple irises.) My husband insists the house needs painting, I’m not so sure - and we are getting quotes next week. We’ve always repainted ourselves but due to health we can’t now. I have no idea how much it costs. Several wood pieces framing the chimney need to be replaced and then repainted. Guess I could hope to match the current color?

Just a quick update to say I chose paint colors! I went with Miller Paints (only in the PNW). A for the body of the house, B for the main trim, C for the mullions. Also took an updated photo of my house to share for those of you who commented on the vines on the trellises on my house. (Still lots more vegetation to get under control before painting, but it is a constant process!) I'll share an update when the painting is completed, but it will be awhile. I work more than full time, have lots of weekend getaways planned for the summer, and the prep work is going to be incredibly time-intensive (but important)! Just need to get it all painted before the rain starts in the fall. Thank you all for sharing your suggestions and opinions! (Please excuse the hose, garden watering was underway!)

The roof looks dark blue to me, so I'm going with blue for siding. Weston Flax for the front door. For the thin veneer foundation stone, you are living in the right state! Check out some of your local stone yards for Vermont limestone. Lots, and lots of colors. For instance, if you painted the house blue:
