It is roughly based on several C.J. Box novels, who happens to be one of my favorite authors.

We watched it and my first reaction was.....MEH. They it came together and WOW. I think it is going to be a little offbeat like Twin Peaks?

Elizabeth, I said to my husband as we watched that it reminds me a little of Twin Peaks. We shall see if it is as off-the-wall quirky. Interesting so far and I'm curious to see where it goes.

I watched it and the ending was such a surprise. So glad to read these comments...I asked a couple friends if they thought the ending was a wow moment and one said she fell asleep the other said she would have to replay it...Huh??? No reaction???

That ending hooked me into the next episode. I would not have watched it otherwise. I hope they keep up the pace of the show and not bore us until the last 2 minutes. That seems to be the way shows are written now...with the Wow endings.

I thought the main character would be in every episode. No?

I'll have to ask my sister if she works on this show. She is a background actor and works in the Vancouver area.

Wow! Just watched it. Oh that scene with the truck gave me the heebeejeebees...never got over Duel. And the ending with a twist!

Not to mention the cool oldies music and the incredible scenery...

Twin Peaks was a very strange show ... and it's strangeness was it's attraction...and the underlying mystery sort of got lost as the plot grew increasingly complicated and fantastic (as in fantasy).

It was a long time ago, so I may not remember correctly, but I think even the writers didn't have a solution to the mystery.

Coming to it a little late, on broadcast just this week, but wow. Really, really good. Thank you!

We just watched the first 2 episodes. So far we like it. Mom/Son -- eeeeeewwww. Like the music.

This show reminds me of a serious movie we watched once, I was upset for days after watching it. It was called Shuttle.

From wikipedia....Shuttle is a 2008 thriller film about a group of young travelers who are kidnapped by an airport shuttle driver with unknown motives. The film was written and directed by Edward Anderson, and stars Tony Curran, Peyton List, and Cameron Goodman

I just watched the second episode and I would now call it dark, not quirky. It certainly advances the plot.
