A new animal TV show?

I've seen some trailers for a tv show that apparently the animals hunt the people. Is that entertainment or will we have a new wave of animal abuse? These kinds of shows really worry me. Monkey see, monkey do.

It is a show based on a James Patterson novel. Zoo is about changes in animal behavior. Fiction. On CBS.

Mystery! is my favorite, but isn't on as regularly as it used to be-alas. I also like NCIS, the original Law and Order (even with all the cast changes-really like the new Prosecutor), and Law and Order Criminal Intent. I like The Closer, but can never remember when it's on and there are a lot of 10 pm shows I would probably like, but I go to bed early (school starts early, don'tchaknow). House Hunters and HH International are fun, too. We actually know some people who were on House Hunters. Such a disappointment-they had already bought their house and the other two houses were just filmed for the show. Not sure if they are all like that, but this one was not entirely honest. Too bad.

Will you watch Katherine Heigl's new TV show?

I must have heard only the good things about her. She's close to her family, and, with her husband, adopted a baby girl from Korea, where her own adopted sister was born. I believe the baby had a heart defect, which was treated after the adoption. I forget the baby's name, but it's unusual because it's a combination of Heigl's mother and sister. She and her husband adopted another baby as well. Plus she is a strong advocate for animals, which I greatly appreciate. Alfre Woodard is also in "State of Affairs;" I like her too. Yes, I'll watch--if I remember. I'm famous for forgetting to watch the beginning, or (more likely) watching the first couple of episodes and then forgetting. ;-)

I always watch Poldark but will have to check out The Collection next time. Speaking of Poldark....... I am curious to find out the father of Elizabeth's baby but It probably won't be in this series. Guess I will have to read the books to find out sooner.

Have been watching the TV show Zoo from the first episode and finding it a very good show. This is just another totally fiction show. Very good scenery from the African safari areas to other beautiful parts of the world. The story is that one of the big companies has secretly been putting an additive in all it's products which now are starting to manifest in major changes in the animal kingdom. Far fetched??? Maybe not as much as we would like to think. Anyways it's an interesting and well done show. We enjoyed all so far. COMPLETE fiction from James Patterson's book.

Omg it's a TV show taken from a FICTIONAL STORY NOTHING IS REAL!!

TAKE A LOOK. NO REAL ANIMALS GOOD GRIEF.

all fiction! I can't even imagine why anyone would think it was anything else. No one is hunting anything. It is genetic abnormalities caused by a food additive. AGAIN FICTIONAL. TV SHOW. NOT REAL.

Does anyone know, is this the only animal show on right "now"? Does Zoo have animals hunting people? The trailers are pretty scary. I don't watch much TV and when I do have it on I'm not giving it my complete attention. I've been waiting for the advertisement to come on again so I can get the name of the program so of course I haven't seen it.

I have been watching it also. The first couple episodes were a little hard to take, only because they seemed a bit corny. And it seemed like the actors were really "over" acting their parts. It seems better to me as it goes on, like the actors have settled into their characters more.

I like it.

Sounds like a combination of The Island Of Dr. Moreau and The Ghost And The Darkness.

MG -- you're so right! I haven't seen it, but that's sure what the promos make it sound like.

There's nothing new under the sun. :)
