Help for exterior paint idea with red clay tile roof
Comments (5)Olychick posted these instructions awhile ago: here are instructions for posting your own photos. If you want to post a photo from another website, it is a different process, so let us know if that's what you want to do. Upload the photos into a free website that hosts photos, like Photobucket or Tiny Pics. copy and paste the photo's URL into the body of the message (not the link area). It will look like a long string of text, but when you preview, the picture will be in the body of the message...See MoreColor scheme help, replace red roof with black roof? Paint red brick
Comments (2)The first thing I would do is lose the shutters on the windows to the far right and far left. They are much too small. Second thing would be to get rid of the orange/salmon color around the windows. You already stated that you don't like the roof and that color around the windows is just drawing the eye to it. Are you planning to replace the roof? If so, a weathered gray/tan color would look a lot better. Can't tell if the brick has been painted or not. I'm not a fan of painting brick so if it hasn't been painted I would look for a color to paint the siding that "tones down" the brick color. A medium taupe would look good. Comments (12)Your home is just fine. I like the color on it now but I think a different color on the trim and garage doors than bright white would make it work better with the roof. I have a neighbor with a red metal roof which looks great with her stone siding which is shades of golden yellow, amber, tan & cream. It is raining now or I would go grab a picture. I'll try later....See MoreExterior paint/ design ideas for traditional house w/ light brown roof
Comments (17)@calidesign Thank you for reference photos. I am such a visual person and those are so helpful. I hate the color of the rock, but at some point this home will become a rental, so I don't want to change things that don't need changing just to suit my personal taste. Appreciate your point of view. @misecretary Great and important question! Definitely more of a beige! I have added additional pictures above that hopefully give you a better idea of the color of the stucco and the rocks. The trim & windows are all the same color as the shutters. I am not sure if that should change in the future. @uoflcardfan77 Thanks Kevin! Great tip on the door. I will check your website out....See Moremillworkman
