We painted some samples on the house and now we are leaning towards Sherwin Williams Backdrop on the body of the house. We like that it looks a little grayer than Warm Stone. We feel like we have to go with something at least that dark because the house is surrounded by trees that drop a ton of stuff on it, and we have the Georgia red clay to deal with, too. Now we are struggling with deciding what colors the garage doors, fascia and gutters should be. Should we use the window trim color (Morris Room Grey) or use the body color (Backdrop)? We have plans to replace the garage door and roof eventually, but we need to figure out what looks best for now until we can do that. All advice is welcome!

I think you are right to be cautious about adding gray on your beige-rust-brownish house. Just doesn’t ”go.” Navy or green would work. The shutters you have now look like bandaids. Get new appropriately sized shutters. Your landscaping looks neat and well cared for, except the one red-brown shrub starting to get too tall.

A waterfront home near me recently painted their blue house to be white, with blue trim. Walking past it, I commented to the workers that it was beautiful. They agreed, saying they were going for a coastal look. I suggest searching Houzz or asking a SW color pro for a coastal white. SW Underseas would work great as your trim color.

Limewash doesn't sound like an attractive finish for your homestyle Black will only make your garage doors look like a black hole, not what you would want.. Paint them the same color you choose for the siding to unify and make the home look finished. ... your colorful landscaping would be an attractive accent, I especially love the bright green foliage, it brightens up everything. any of these SW colors would compliment the brick. I especially love the darker tones for the body. the entryway could be the lighter versions to help draw attention to the front door. you could paint the front door a real pop of color (possibly in the pink/red family) as the beautiful flowers you have in front.
