Paint Design Dilemma Exterior

help select exterior paint for my red roof home

desperate need help in finding a new look ,the right color for my home. it currently has an olive green and white trim and window frames are black red steal roof. it has wood siding in the front and stucco in the back. i was hoping to go with grays but every color i choose it changes one tone in the stucco and different look in the wood. please help me out. the roof is of steel which i hate and am planning to add stone below the windows and maybe pilar. i have bought 17 samples! mostly sherwin willimas . i was thinking of gray, white trim and my red roof and red door. i can send my pictures via my cell p hone later please let me know if you have suggestions.

After looking at your photos, with your roof and dark trim windows, and stucco, your best bet is a pretty off white. Maybe with slant to a grey and cream or even white trim.

The first thing I would do is lose the shutters on the windows to the far right and far left. They are much too small. Second thing would be to get rid of the orange/salmon color around the windows. You already stated that you don't like the roof and that color around the windows is just drawing the eye to it. Are you planning to replace the roof? If so, a weathered gray/tan color would look a lot better. Can't tell if the brick has been painted or not. I'm not a fan of painting brick so if it hasn't been painted I would look for a color to paint the siding that "tones down" the brick color. A medium taupe would look good. Some great suggestions already! I would try out a few light colors to see how they look, maybe a sage, light blue, cream and blue-gray and choose one for the whole house. Oh and I should add that this isn’t how the landscaping currently looks. We had just removed overgrown bushes, which have now been replaced. This is just the only photo I have on hand at the moment.

Am giving up on grays since light grays are too light in the wood and totally different on the stucco and thinking of Sherwin-Williams Browns like sw6125 sw7565 sw7076 a look from their desert and southwest style front cover due to the red roof. Although my neighbor is more suburban modern

Here is what i would work toward. Off white siding and stucco with dark brown trim. Take a look at these examples.

Thank you. I appreciate your response. These are beautiful homes mine is not and across from me is my neighbor with a White House wood siding and white or off white stucco and red roof and red trim . I thought if doing that but I can’t. So u would not do the goldentone wood snd darker stucco or light cream stucco ?

Your home is just fine. I like the color on it now but I think a different color on the trim and garage doors than bright white would make it work better with the roof.

I have a neighbor with a red metal roof which looks great with her stone siding which is shades of golden yellow, amber, tan & cream. It is raining now or I would go grab a picture. I'll try later.

I'm sorry you don't think your home is beautiful; I think it's very cute and interesting.

I agree that a less stark trim colour would tone things down and make it more soothing. I could see off-white, rust orange, brown, or darker olive looking smashing.
