That will be beautiful. It's a great old house! I would stay away from more modern colors and use colors more in keeping with its era. (Danita's examples while beautiful are all too contemporary for the age of your house. ) What colors do you personally like? The house can go in many different directions and all would be appropriate.

I think a shade of green would look great with the brick and roof colors. Check out Sherwin Williams mountain road.....it is a green with a lot of greige/beige in it. I would consider SW loggia siding with SW mountain road shutters, and a darker color for the front door, such as SW porpoise. SW porpoise

thanks! grey-greens now that's an idea, I will look into it! nothing is really finished yet but I'll try and post a good shot of the kitchen and bathroom soon. the pink bathroom was definitely what clinched the place for me!

What do you mean by “pop?” I like the existing color of the house, but would definitely lose the turquoise accents. That isn’t the kind of “pop” that I would like. I suggest that the “pop” come in the form of landscaping design. Colorful foliage, planter boxes (perhaps in turquoise), beautiful trees, etc. Bring in a landscape designer. That is where you will get the best bang for your buck. And “pop!”
