Have you ever made pumpkin syrup?

I used to make apple cider syrup years ago, to eat with my hot cooked cereal. That was a simple matter of cooking it down to the right consistency.

I roasted a pumpkin and have a lot of liquid draining from the flesh - with a nice pumpkin flavor. I am tempted to try to make syrup with it - wonder if it has enough natural sugar, or if I will need to add some.

Have you ever done so, or seen such?
