Looks like you might be our GW guinea pig and trying it out for us all. It sounds great from your description and if it's true you wouldn't have anything to lose so on behalf of the group thanks for taking on the "hardship" of trying a new rose!

I'm not sure when Zepeti is scheduled for introduction into the USA, or if it is even going to be released here, nor if the name that it is known by now will be its name here if it hits our shores.

That said, I hope it does come our way, and perhaps a series of different colors will develop out of it, also, especially white and pink.

Zepeti's seeming uniform growth habit, beautiful glossy foliage, and reported disease resistance are what caught my attention. It would be nice if its disease resistance was top of the line, unlike the Sunblaze series of minis which are great rebloomers, but apparently not so much for disease resistance. The Drift roses have very good disease resistance in my garden, but their lax growth habit is nice in one way, but unkempt looking in another way.

There are so many minis, but not so many disease resistant ones. Some of us remember the older exhibition type minis, like: Magic Carousel, Good Morning America, and Jean Kenneally which quickly declined to the pressure of black spot if just one spray session was missed.

If (when) it arrives, I sure hope it has hardiness more like the Drift series and not the Sunblaze series. I've tried at least 5 types of Sunblaze roses from at least 4 different sources and none of them has even pretended to survive my zone 5 winters. That's odd as usually Meilland roses are above average compared to similar roses within a given category for surviving in my zone.

In general, most of my minis have been disappointing outside of Drift and a few select others. I have about 30 minis that survive OK, but none bush out or bloom very often even in pretty good locations. The best of them is probably Rumba and Unconditional Love (Barden), outside of the Drifts.
