Which rug do you think looks best (pics)
Comments (9)I am still at a loss for an accent color, would Red be too much? It would help tie in both rooms. I hope to have the entrance to the rooms trimmed in molding in the next 6 months. (see more rug and art choices below) Tinker-overstock.com, these are wool rugs 4x6 for $139 and $2.95 to ship, Superchick posted about an entry rug. Now she rec'd her rug (ivory/beige color) amd she says it appears if hers might have been a floor model because it looks like it had grease on it. I have read a lot of the reviews on the different rugs and they seem to be positive. Parma-Yes, tired of the orange!!, it was fun for a year, but now I want to show some continuity, it's funny because the dining room looks green now because of the way the light hits it, but I still love the color. Yes, keeping the dining room rug (dark as photos) I did was changed the way the table is facing, so the ends are at the window and the back of the couch, I'm sure it's not intended that way, but it looks so much better and gives us much more room. Comments (18)I use a lazy susan from Rubber Maid purchased back in the Pleistocene era that I keep in a cabinet away from the stove. Certain things are kept in the refrigerator. Everything is dated when purchased, and every 2 years I go through it all and through out what is old, unless I taste it and it tastes good. I do love to save those little bottles. They are great for making your own spice blends, sorting buttons of different colors, screws of different sizes, making your own spice blends. My mother used to keep her spare buttons in beautiful cake tins. Remember when people gave you gifts of cake in beautiful colored aluminum cake tins or beautiful boxes that looked like hat boxes? Well, they were our repository for buttons. It made it a treat to hunt down that special button for mom. Too bad those days are gone! The tiny jars from jam samples are good for storing those tiny quantities of saffron that might come in a cellophane packet. Or craft supplies. Who said recycling is a new thing?...See MoreWhich lampshade do you like best on this lamp; blue or white?
Comments (5)Neither to tell you the truth. Thought you might find the link below helpful https://www.ballarddesigns.com/howtodecorate/2019/03/choose-right-lamp-shade/ My daughter in law has similar lamps in their bedroom and it’s been hard to find the right shades at a decent price. She’s still trying to find the perfect ones....See MoreMixing & matching woods…which dining room combo do you like best?
