I had take out from a small restaurant in town - Poutine= smashed baked potatoes, pulled pork, white cheddar curds, and gravy. Can you say rich? I could only eat half of it. Delicious tho.No, I'm not in Canada, this is the Ohio version. ha

Just awhile ago I fixed two big stuffed green peppers to go into the crock pot in the morning and cook til supper time. Mmmm, one of my comfort foods.

ETA: why did the tho.No become highlited in green? I clicked on it and it took me to a weird list of names.

Asian style chicken salad is on the menu for tonight. There is an avocado in the fridge that needs to be eaten so I will probably add it to the salad.

Venison steak with mushroom gravy, left over chicken wild rice salad, and corn muffins.

Red chili smothered nachos and peach coconut cobbler for dessert.

Blackened cajon cod, cooked in a cast iron skillet on the grill. I put the skillet on the grill until its screaming hot than add my fish a few minutes on both sides, this is the kids favorate Friday food...baked potatoes, and steamed fresh garden green beans, corn muffins and snickerdoodle cookies. Clean up was a breeze.

Cold, crispy mixed salad with my garden greens, plus Romaine, cukes, zucchini, scallions, garbanzo beans, chopped red sweet peppers, rat tail radish, tomatoes, and little yellow squash blossoms. Whew, I think that's it, lol. All but the Romaine and garbanzos from the garden.

I streamed, seasoned, and chilled a bunch of shrimp to toss on top and made a ginger dressing.

I made a big bowl of Tuna salad for sandwiches for dinner.

Salsa! Lol. I found a kind of jarred salsa I liked from Costco that was a little bit pricy. It is now being watered down in the jar so I tried making my own again. I'm letting it sit overnight, but I already did some serious sampling. I think mine will be pretty good.

BBQ pork, coleslaw with homegrown okra that I fried. We have okra trees growing since we have had rain, rain, rain.....:0

I made potato salad yesterday, so we will have that plus grilled chicken.

Everyone's dinner sounds so good....I've been busy today so I just had leftover cobb salad.

Your menus sound yummy! We had a family reunion/fish try here last month and had a few pieces of fish left in the freezer so I fried those with Zatarains fish fry mix, and we had cole slaw and air fried RedRobin seasoned fries. And sliced tomatoes!

Son in law's Bday and we had crabs, pulled pork, tomato and mozarella salad, corn on the cob, noodle salad and ice cream cake for dessert

Sliders for dinner found a yummy sounding Kraft cheese, 'smoky bacon cheddar' to top the patties. Yummy and far too fattening, it's my calorie splurge for the week.

Was hurting too much to cook and just didn't feel like going out tonight so I dined on pain pills, and a packet of crackers w/peanut butter. Wasn't really hungry anyway.
