It's Tuesday... what's your main meal today?
Comments (13)Absolutely nothing to brag about. I feel like we've done nothing but cook and eat, cook and eat (and of course clean up) since guests arrived from Croatia on the 8th. We're full, and we're tired ;0) Tonight was a down night, they are at my SIL's summer home 1 1/2 hours away last night (we drove up - to eat!) and tonight. Ham and eggs here, and I'm going to bed early....See MoreWhat was for your main meal today?
Comments (38)I watched the grand kids today. Left their place starving and exhausted so I stopped and ate in at a local Chinese restaurant. I had a combo plate of Mongolian beef with steamed rice and an egg roll. Frotune cookie for dessert. Iced tea for beverage....See MoreYour main meal today .. Tuesday
Comments (29)Yesterday I went out for breakfast, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, rye toast and coffee at my favorite restaurant. It's been sunny and cool but very windy last few days. Currently clear and 24° F (that's -4.444445°C for my fahrenheitically-challenged friends but I'm not sure what's "metric" for "clear"). Winds are 25 mph (which translates to 40.23 km/h) with gusts well over 50 mph (80.47 km/h). My roof must look like a brush pile from the sound of things overnight. Had a beef stick snack late last night. No breakfast yet. Probably will make a meatloaf and cauliflower slaw later today....See MoreToday is Friday, what's for your meal of the day?
Comments (18)Friday night often means homemade pizza night with the sprites, unless Robert and I have other plans, and that's what we had tonight. We'll fix anything they want but pizza usually wins. Older sprite makes the dough by herself now! She ran over as soon as she got home, put her apron on and got to work. So cute. She assembles everything she needs and lines the ingredients up according to when they are needed. Little sprite picks peppers, tomatoes, and basil and helps decide what else we want on the pizza. Anyway, we had a couple of grilled pizzas, a simple crunchy salad, and lemon sugar cookies for dessert....See Morenicole___
