I just want to add my 2 cents worth on what a great time I had. The opportunity of getting to meet some of the Citrus forum regulars was just a special treat for me! The seafood supper at Gilligans with 20 comfirmed " citruholics" was the highlight of the Expo. Special thanks to Patty, Joe and Bob for flying in for the event. I hope it was at least half as good an event as you expected. Things went very smoothly and the weather couldnt have been better! Its a good thing the Expo wasnt scheduled for today.. Its a washout with this being the first heavy rain we've seen in a long, long time. Scott and Cactus, It was great meeting you guys as well. Hope to see all of you next year in Virginia Beach. There is a guy up there with a great citrus collection, growing in ground.... some of the trees are probably 20 footers. I hope the planning committee puts his place on the agenda for a walking tour! Thanks again to all of you, it wouldnt have been the same without you.

Ilene, I don't know if you visit the NWS website like I do. Here's their latest warning for the Caney creek. Actually, there are three back to back warnings . I included all three in case there is info in there that is helpful. I am positive something good will come of all of this, even if we lack the wisdom right now to understand what the good may be. Keeping a positive thought in my head, and a prayer in my heart for all affected by this weather. :) Dawn WGUS84 KTSA 011913 FLSTSA FLOOD STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 212 PM CDT SUN JUL 01 2007 ...MAJOR FLOODING CONTINUES TO BE FORECAST ALONG THE CANEY RIVER AT BARTLESVILLE AND NEAR COLLINSVILLE... Maybe someone got BINGO today, but I still need one more! Are we all waiting for the same one to be picked? We've been getting rain lately and my plants love it! I see some spaghetti squash forming on those plants. I have them growing in tomato cages because I don't have much ground space for them to wander ... although they are certainly trying to do that. I may have to place slings under the squash as it grows larger. :-) May went by in the blink of an eye! Jeanne

Monica, thank you for mentioning Valley Forge as I hadn't thought of it. We will do one day there and then another day in Phily. I want to do the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. I know we need tickets for the tour and will make reservations for those. I just haven't figured out a time for when we want to do that. I have an electric scooter and was wondering if there is any problem in using it in both of these places. I have a problem walking very far since I have back problems. Tami, it would be great to see you if we get close enough to each other to coordinate it. Yes we belong to Passport America. Susan, road construction is a given just about everywhere in the Summer. We aren't in a hurry, we are retired. LOL Anne, we will definitely get together with you and Dances. Ed it would be fun to have a get together in London and meet with you, Iva Mae, Jasdip and Luckygardnr. I will give you a date as soon as I figure it out then you all can pick a place to meet. I see that there is a KOA in London so we might stay there. Bob, I planned on making reservations at Monticello and will do that in the next week or so. We pull a PT Cruiser behind our motor home so that is what we will travel around town in while in Charlottesville. Thank you for the beautiful pictures. I hope there will be lots of flowers in bloom when we get there.
