Theres nothing flatter than the Mississippi River Delta where I grew up. Our nearest ”hill” was the levee on the Mississippi and the highest point in my home county was the landfill. To get to a natural hill, we had to drive 30 miles east, 50 miles west, 85 miles north, or 70 miles south. King Cotton.

murraysmom, bro/sis…so cute! DH told me the other day he kind of regrets not bringing home one of Lily’s brothers with her. She was the only female. I told him it could have been a bigger problem had we had TWO pups needing surgery had they BOTH swallowed palm tree pods!🥴 We could finally bathe her after they removed her stitches but need to take her back to the groomer soon.

Late today. A lot of diagonals here. I live in NYC. I know we have raccoons and I’ve seen possum in the backyard too, but still!! I had to take a pic.

My mom's crucifix. Has 2 blessed candles and a bottle of holy water inside. Back in the day you could have a priest come to your home to administer last rights using the candles and holy water. .
