My Valentine's Gift!!! Dont look orchidude LOL!
Comments (23)Now I would never?(almost never) put a palms needs ahead of a "humans" but......trishmick, it sounds like the "safest" and of course "healthest" room in the house for your beloved three year old would be the north? facing room I am certainly not an expert on childrin, (who is?)- but I feel my knowledge of palms makes up for this, I,m pretty sure they don,t require sun?So how about a simple swap, kid for palms...um..I mean swap their rooms,If its already decorated for children(kids room) may I suggest simply planting palm seeds, does this help?...See MoreAre curtains decorations? lol curtains from sheets
Comments (7)Thanks so much ya'll :) I haven't gotten back to sewing yet, maybe tomorrow. I was too tired after being in the heat yesterday and packing and unpacking, and today is Lazy Day..pretty much, anyway, lol. If I make curtains in this room again, I will probably go with long tablecloths for curtain panels, and matching place mats cut in half for the valances, that's even less work. For the french doors, it's just plain sheet panels with no header. These valances are what I intended to make, but I sewed them all the same, like a short curtain with a casing on top and bottom. What I did was pull the center out, fluff it, and pin it to the top of the rod,lol!...See MoreRoc
Comments (7)Roc, I often use Downy Free on towels than a light spritz with linen spray before folding. My boys love the peppermint spritz. Sometimes I think unscented FS and linen spray is the way to go much more scent choices with more tolerable scents. Yum homemade Fruit Cake, sooo much better than any store bought that all tastes like preserveatives. I do sit off and on during the day LOL, that's usually the times I log in here. I just never put my feet up, and as soon as I sit I think of something I need to do and of course that leads to more things that need done. LOL. On the other hand the more I do during the day the more my RA affects me at night..I have completely given up lifting my soup pot of boiling water, someone else has to lift it..I've found that is really not good for my RA. I've just started a round of Steroids and the doc says no lifting, pushing, pulling anything more than 5 pounds, now I have to rely on hubs more, well I guess this is the reason I've kept him around LOL..OMG enough about me...how often do you sit Roc LOL. When you spot that Nu soft take a huff..I'm curious about its scent now days. Take Care....See MoreFor Roc
Comments (6)Hey mama..... I had a thought yesterday I wanted to run by you, the detergent queen....or anyone else with knowledge....I too noticed the new Ariel bags in Walmart and there are even tags that stick out that say "NEW" product... I know it would suds way too much in my front loader. I know when this happens in a laundry mat the attendant puts some fabric softener in to cut the suds. I might of had to do that before too when experimenting with a detergent :) But here's the question..... what would that actually hurt? To use a detergent like Ariel, knowing it would produce too many suds but add a little bit of fabric softener to prevent that?... Is there any reason it would be a huge no no?...See Moremamapinky0
