Not watching a lot now, just Poldark.

We record PBS stuff to watch later: Crimson Fields, Poldark, Halifax, etc. In between, we watch TV series like New Tricks, other BBC series. Right now we have a DVD from the library that is *too long* but very good in parts: Dancing On The Edge. It takes place in England in the mid-1930's. David, P.O.W., hasn't met 'that woman'. A *Negro* jazz bank is a novelty. (So far it appears that the only decent person in the story is Louis, the bandleader.)

News andJeopardy every day and I must confess to a little Food Network and Say Yes To The Dress as my guilty pleasures.

I like Downton Abbey as well as a lot of the PBS stories. Something we are really enjoying lately is Alaska State Troopers and Alaska Coast Guard. We like the outdoors and the sceneries are gorgeous. It's such a harsh environment, it's also cool to see life from the Alaskans and law enforcement perspectives. The Guard and Troopers there are nothing short of amazing.

Watched 3 episodes of Bloodline and am hooked. Every episode shows a little bit more of the background of this family, which brings up more questions than answers to this point. I'm really enjoying it. I'm also into the second season Of "Last Tango In Halifax". Completely different but very enjoyable. I love it when I have lots of choices of what to watch.

There isn't much of interest on right now. I don't get the fancy channels so no Games of Thrones or anything for me. I'm watching Killjoys, Dark Matter and Stitchers - all found on Space (although I have to watch Stitchers online). I lost track of Under the Dome so stopped watching it.

Suits, American Pickers, Salvage Dawgs, flea-market flip, beach flip, Major Crimes, Cold Case, Big Brother, Mr. Robot but it is getting too weird will probably drop it. Home Free, some of the Alaska shows. Stitchers here also and Proof.

I'm also watching House of Cards on Netflix. Recenlly finished watching all seven seasons of Nurse Jackie on demand. I thought that was a great series. I intend to start Orange is the New Black when I finish HofC. In between I watch the Daily Show, MSNBC, a little HGTV. ONe cute show I do watch is Flipping Out on Bravo.

OITNB is a good show. Like House of Cards, when its released I try to not binge watch but, inevitably I end up finishing the current season quickly and then have to wait a year for the next one.

Daredevil is another good one. Netflix is really doing a bang up job on the production aspect.

I don't have cable so anything I watch I watch online through Netflix, Amazon Prime or HBO Go.

I love Suits! I DVR Chopped! I've learned how to deal with some weird ingredients on Chopped. I also like anything Mobster.

I am watching Murder in the First, Flipping Out, Jeopardy, and Big Brother.

I love Murder in the First - I forgot that show. What a shocker ending last week! (at least for me)

I watch it on Canadian Bravo and it might be behind.

Airplane Repo!! Best "reality" show ever!! All the excitement and derring-do of a James Bond film with none of the silliness or watered down drinks (okay, in Bond's case the watery martini is sexual innuendo, but whole generations don't get it...). Good looking, silver haired men who know what they're doing, pulling off dangerous, quasi-legal capers and serving justice.

They do some reenactments to serve the storytelling and legal department, and the narration over-dramatizes some of the stories for effect, but that doesn't bother me. That's the way it is when you hear the story from the guy who lived it, so why shouldn't it be from the TV telling it? It rarely has that bad high school play sense of ordinary people acting to script, except where there are cops involved. I think those must mostly be reenactments.

Once in awhile, the debtors are trying to scrape together a living using the plane and just having hard luck, and I feel bad for them, but most of the time it's rich people, or even companies, who don't actually need the planes (or yachts, helicopters, etc.), who stop paying, hide the vehicle, and act aggrieved. It's nice to be able to root for the banks (of all unpopular institutions) and see a wrong by the self-entitled righted.

You can find it on Discovery channels. There are only a handful of episodes per year, but they're playing currently, and the reruns are often on as well.

I watch Yankees baseball. Go Yankees!

On the weekend, I've been enjoying Dark Matter and catching up on the latest season of Orphan Black, both on iTunes. I DVR new episodes of House Hunters International. One episode is just the right amount of television for me to wind down at night.

I really loved suits....it is a great show. I binge watched it on Amazon and it was very enjoyable. Seeing a lot of ideas here to put on my list! Yeah!

Oh I forgot Devious Maids! I love that show it's so funny. And right now our favorite is The Last Ship I am so glad it came back again. And I watch the various real estate shows on bravo, right now it's a new one in California.

Rizzoli and isles, we like the house hunt shows too like beachfront bargain hunt, and buying the bayou, etc. There's an RV show that we watch too Going RV.

I'm watching Emily Owens, MD or Doctor on Netflix. It's not too serious, often funny and stars Meryl Streeps' daughter.

I have enjoyed some old movies this summer such as Giant and Pink Panther. I have also been watching lots of shows on the various history channels such as How the Earth Was Made and WWII in HD. I also enjoyed the series about the last 7 families that live in the Alaskan national reserve. I have seen all of Last Tango in Halifax and enjoy the various shows about flipping houses, but their costs are so unrealistic for our area.

plllog.....Plane repo. We've watched it and liked IT! Haven't seen it in almost a year .....I'll look for it.

America's Got Talent. Last Comic Standing. At the gym I watch HGTV.

I just finished watching "Star Crossed" on Netflix. I liked it but it was only 1 season and the ending could have been better. I also finished "Lost" not long ago, I loved it.

We just finished watching a movie. "About Time", 2013 with Rachel McAdams.

A fantastic movie, with the same producers of The Notebook and Notting Hill.

We have been watching Scandal. We are about to start season 4, it's been really good. Before that we did Bloodline - very good. It was House of Cards before that and that was very good. Looking forward to it's next season. I think when we're done we will be going back to Homeland.

I just started watching Agents of SHIELD on Netflix. I love the Marvel universe and my hubby grew up reading and collecting comic books so its nice getting to see these stories and characters acted out.

Heads up! This is the last week (Mon-Thurs) for Jon Stewart on the Daily show before he rides off into the sunset. Should be a special week of shows from an amazing person and a brilliant show.

Raven and Jewels.... thank you, thank you, thank you! It's nice to know I am not the only one over 25 that watches Big Brother. My husband does not understand how I can sit and watch that. lol

I missed the last hour of Poldark last night. Bummer. Eventually I will check it out online but I'm not a fan of viewing on the computer. Maybe my tablet.

There's a movie on Netflix streaming titled, Words And Pictures that I watched recently , and it was excellent. Also, while it's still on Netflix, two dark English miniseries: Appropriate Adult, and Happy Valley. There is another movie on Netflix with the name Happy Valley, so don;t get mixed up.

What is GoT that someone mentioned? And where is it?

Moonie, here in the megalopolis of LA to SD, we have several PBS stations. One plays the Poldark shows 6 days later. You may have something like that in your area. So search for Poldark and see if something shows up on the schedule this week.

I've been saving Poldark for binge watching. :) I did what Sheilajoyce said one Summer watching all the repeats on all the channels for Flambards. :)

we just got done with the first installment of the remake of poldark, on pbs...now we have to wait til next year...

About Time is a "romance" type movie and my daughter poo-poo'd it (she's 28) when I put it on and she was hanging out in the living room. She LOVED it. It was funny, and endearing...GREAT MOVIE :o)

Anyone watching the new series "Complications"? I am and it's a show I look forward to see what will happen the following week. Not alot on in the summer. Suits is a favorite too.

GoT is Game of Thrones, on HBO. They just fiinished the 5th season. If you have HBO, you can probably get on demand, and "catch up". My coworker is currently binge watching to catch up to Season 6. Sometimes watching shows several seasons at a time with not having to wait week to week is GREAT!

Jon Stewart is a favorite; BOY, will HE be MISSED!

Anyone watching Extant? Meryl Streep's other daughter is in that one. I found Emily Owens MD amusing and entertaining. Too bad they cancelled it!

Oh, how about Grace and Frankie??? Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin? It's hilarious.

Pillog- I will binge watch Poldark too in the Fall. Right now, we've finished watching some fillers like Wayward Pines and the Returned. Keeping up with Mr Robot (a guilty pleasure), and Complications on USA. Lady Mary and Ragnor Lothbruk are right around the corner now...

About Time was a very good movie. I really enjoyed it.

I'm not watching much right now. True Detective is about it, and next week is the finale. I like Cold Justice, and Rizzole & Isles, but I always forget about them.

I have been watching this show called My Giant Life it is on tonight, It is following this group of women that are extremely tall I mean giant tall. One of them is a young girl that is a junior in high school here in the Houston area. She has 2 brothers that are equally as tall and so is their mother. This young girl ,Nancy, has the longest neck I have ever seen on a human. One of the other women if from a family of giant people, her mother and father are both very tall and so are her siblings. She is just engaged to a guy that is much much shorter than she is. He has to stand on a chair to kiss her. Her father is totally against the wedding, he keeps saying this is ruining their giant gene pool she needs to marry someone tall. I guess love does not enter into his thinking, he is very mean and rude to the young man that is in love with his daughter.

One of the other girls has been searching for her birth father and just found him she is going to see him tonight for the first time since he left her when she was a child. She got her height from him.

It has really been eye opening to see what they have to deal with on a daily basis and how every day in their lives people stare and comment and treat them like freaks. I would recommend it. On TLC tonight.

I love Suits and Complications--of the shows on right now, they are the best.

I don't watch any crime shows or detective shows. We watch Wheel of Fortune. Jeopardy, Mike and Molly, Braves baseball, Big Bang Theory, The chew during the day and my sister has turned me on to The Middle. I couldn't stand it at first now it is my favorite. We also watch the local news at noon and evening, and NBC news with Lester holt. I usually have the tv on but muted most of the time. America's got talent, and winter it is Dancing with the stars. Not a great list of shows but we like what we like. Oh and Pawn stars and American pickers, too.
