I watch anything and everything. I've been digging into my arsenal of DVDs to add to the current Halloween fare on the telly. Heck, I even watched The Brothers Grimm yesterday, and it is not rated well. Hokey! Anything macabre right now.

Thanks for the suggestions. I watched Providence back in the 90's - the TV version of the city looked very charming. I've been watching Reservoir Dogs on HBOMax and finishing up last season's Call the Midwife.

I am happy to hear that you are enjoying McLeods Daughters. I have watched that series twice.

girlnamedgalez8a.....I absolutely love McLeod's Daughters!! I love Aussie shows. I'm not happy with the latest cast member, but the series is a keeper. I also like The CowboyWay a reality series about 3 Alabama cowboys and their families.

Providence was one of our favorite shows, and the city is one of our favorite places too. Our DD1 went to Brown, and we have such happy memories of Waterfire (google it--quite amazing), great food and charming old streets to wander. I watch next to nothing on a regular basis, just Jeopardy, and a few random shows that are on too late. I am looking forward to the new season of All Creatures Great and Small and Gilded Age.

Mostly CNBC for the stock market coverage and football when there is a game worth watching.

I'm guessing you have more streaming services than I. It seems like most people do. I have Netflix and Amazon Prime. I'm finally close to the end of Gilmore Girls. I started watching it on CDs a lot of years ago. I also started watching The Sinner, which was highly recommended. It's certainly dark, but well done. And after years of seeing Call the Midwife recommended here, I started watching that too. I'm enjoying it.

As for regular TV, my favorite show, Blue Bloods, has started its new season on Friday nights. Having grown up in NYC, I'm drawn to cop shows set there. I watch Chicago Med on Wednesdays when I can. It gets more like a soap opera all the time, but I'm hanging in. I occasionally catch Antiques Roadshow. And I am ever faithful to Jeopardy!

I don't watch much TV. The only thing I make a point to watch is Young Sheldon and Ghost. The grands and I watched a Netflix family Halloween movie "The Curse of Bridge Hollow" that was entertaining over the weekend. I am looking forward to the new season of Outlander and eye candy Jamie.

Iwatch most of the Masterpiece Theater shows. The new season of Miss Scarlet And The Duke started last night. On Netflix, I love Derry Girls, which also just a

started a new season. Others Im watching are Never Have I Ever. My Next Guest with David Letterman, Bridgerton. On Apple tv, i lovedTed Lasso.

Jeopardy of course, although i absolutely can’t stand the Celebrity version. I like The Conners since Roseanne is no longer on it. Survivor, although less all the time.

Just finished Never Have I Ever's latest season. Now I'm looking for something new as well. My BIL highly recommended Sandman, but it seems too dark for me, even tho I do like a lot of Neil Gaiman's writing.

We don't have Prime now, but a few older series I really enjoyed were Vanity Fair, The Politician, Tales From The Loop, Forever and Unorthodox.

And I really enjoyed Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, which I only discovered last year, after enjoying the Christmas movie. The Good Place was another network show I was late to, but enjoyed immensely.

I'm always a bit behind it seems. Good thing so many shows are evergreen.

I don't have any 'extra' streaming services. I have Direct TV and the local channels. I did recently add the UP Faith and Family channel to my Direct TV package. I love 'Heartland' and Hudson & Rex is pretty good, too, although it's not what I thought it would be from the ad blurbs I'd seen about it. I keep thinking, hoping, that I will find more shows on it that I will enjoy.

On regular TV, I watch Wheel of Fortune every night and enjoy it, but I absolutely HATE the celebrity version. I loved 'New Amsterdam' the first couple of seasons, but not so much any more, I don't care for the direction it is going in. I also like 'The Good Doctor' and 'Chicago Med'.

My recent favorite is Aerial America on Paramount. I hated geography in grade school but I find it so interesting now.

What am I NOT watching? Anything on ABC. Nexstar is negotiating with FIOS and millions are without ABC from New England to the Carolinas since midnight Friday. Guaranteed nothing will be taken off our bill which is crazy high.

Mr Jones is based on the true story of a young Welsh journalist fighting to debunk lies about the 'success' of Communism being fed to the West by a famous but 'bent' Moscow correspondent for a London newspaper. The young man's mother had taught in Ukraine years before the revolution, providing him with a little entree to travel through the country looking for the 'benefits' to the people from collective farming scheme. Steel yourself if you dare to travel with him. Hang on to the conclusion, even after 'all is lost'. A terrific film, reminding us how virtually *nothing* has changed in Moscow since the thirties.

For lighter fare about Russian powers that be: The Death of Stalin is a wonderful dark comedy.

I too am a longtime watcher of Jeopardy. I try never to miss the regular shows, but I must say, the so- called celebrity versions of that show are not my cup of tea. Maybe it's a generational thing, but most of them I've never heard of. That's okay, but I hate watching these people trying to act cute, pretending to play dumb. Well, I guess the might be.

Hate to high Jack a thread, but have you noticed that many of the contestants on the regular show are of the variety that start their sentences with "so. . .? Is this the latest thing instead of inserting "like" uselessly?

Only Murders in the Building is fantastic. And what a cast! I've binge-watched almost to the end of the season and still haven't figured out who did it.

@Jupidupi, I love that show. i binged watched both seasons and waiting for season 3 which will have Paul Rudd in it.

While we were on our cross-country RV road trip back in early in September, I saw a blurb about the new Harry Potter 20 year retrospective show coming out. Apparently, it was showing on Netflix or wherever, but you could also order the dvd, which is what I did. We watched it the other night and very much enjoyed it. Most of the original cast, as well as the directors, and JK Rowling were on the original sets. With many clips from the different movies shown and then the various actors sitting around talking about them, as well as seeing many funny behind the scene clips. It was a wonderful and enjoyable retrospective for us all.

I was surprised to find the rather violent police drama, Van der Valk, on Masterpiece. (We stream these through Amazon with a Masterpiece subscription.) There's a Season Two, but it had the message, "Not currently availabl," when we tried to pull it up. It's set in Amsterdam.

We really enjoyed "Van der Valk"....the first episode kind of had me wondering, but we

soon got hooked on him. Looking forward to the next Series now. :) It comes on

our Masterpiece just through our local PBS. Masterpiece is on every Sunday

night. Getting "Miss Scarlet and the Duke" and "Annika" now for a few episodes.But

"Grantchester" is my all time favorite. Saw the latest Series awhile ago...not sure

if more will be coming or not.

Prime also has the movie, "The Tomorrow War" or "My Spy".

I just finished, on UTube, "Extraordinary Attorney WOO", it has sub titles, it's Korean based.

CBS, Ghosts is a funny & cute show. There's also a BBC version.

The Secret Of Skinwalker Ranch is interesting. It's on the History Channel.

We've been watching "Motor Week" for at least 20 years. It's on PBS.

There's a street magic show. We've seen an episode or two.

I watch a lot of Brit Box shows. Both comedy and drama. Ovation is another channel I watch. Masterpiece tops my list too. Must admit I am really into the new show on AMC, Interview with a Vampire. Anne Rice had more control in this than the movie. On HBO I am into several shows House of the Dragon, a prelude to Game of Thrones. Am waiting for new seasons of Perry Mason on HBO it started with Perry being a Private Detective, all before he became an attorney. The new season puts him in the courtroom, can't wait. There are so many that I follow, I am tied to an oxygen machine and seldom get out anymore as Covid is a death trap for me. This makes tv and Schultz my world, a book thrown in once in awhile too.

My son recommended The Sinner but after one episode I wasn't hooked. I'm currently watching Dahmer. I might have nightmares.

I'm not much of a movie fan but just watched The Descendants with George Clooney and it was terrific.

Another decent (quaint) dog movie is Oddball.

Emma was decent. So was Cider with Rosie.

Three episodes into Poldark. Quite good so far.

I’mwatching ”The Watcher”. It’s okay. They took a true story and imagined if it went further than it really did, so even though it says it’s based on a true story, only two events actually happaned: they bought a house, and got a few weird, disturbing letters. Anyway, I’ll finish watching the series, but if I didn’t, I’d be okay with that.

We enjoyed The Empress.

Oly, we recently saw The Descendents for the second time. It always surprises me how good it is! I don’t know why I have low expectations, but it really is good.

I like to stream movies I know well, especially musicals, while I’m doing things like decluttering. So lately I’m watching the delightful 1965 Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella with Lesley Ann Warren and Stuart Damon! on Tubi I think as well as on YouTube (terrible on youtube, with the oddly-placed commercials). And White Christmas.

I borrowed Carousel from the library. I think it’s my favorite musical score. So lush.
