What is the setting...beach/ocean?

The Champagne color is pretty. Have you done an image search of homes like yours to see what others used?

I wonder if your roofing material may be leading to a scarcity of responses. Perhaps others, like me, are not familiar with that material and therefore hate to voice an opinion. It's so hard to visualize something on a grand scale from a small on-screen color sample.

I googled your third roofing choice and came up with the photo below (though I wouldn't trust it's the correct color). With this photo and the thought of those pretty white houses in Spain with iron windows, I'd consider one of the darker window options such as the midnight bronze. I have no idea what look you're aiming for, though.

Can the manufacturer of the roofing material provide photos of homes that have used the colors you're considering? The idea to browse Houzz for more photos is a good one, too.

Champagne roof:

Tuscany Brown or Midnight Bronze if you prefer dark defined windows and whichever color harmonizes best with the roof.

Linen Windows if you prefer the lighter look for windows.

Silver roof:

Alpine white windows safe choice. Graphite window if you like blue and want to do something fun.

Really it's about making a decision between silver to champagne for the roof - which one 'fits' you better. And then coordinating window color choice from there.

newhomebuilder -- we're in a neighborhood setting, the "poles" in the sketch above mark tree locations.

lazydaisynot -- someone on the building forum also pointed me to a photo of that house, I really like it! My husband thinks anything that is not "neutral" is too "out there" but I am working on him. After all, red is practically brown, and blue is practically gray, right? (Told you I was lousy at colors)

funcolors -- thank you! I'd like to do something with a touch of color if possible. The Graphite and Stone Grey both seem to be bluish on the actual samples. On a standalone basis, I think the Stone Grey is our compromise favorite (blue enough for me and gray enough for my husband), but it probably is too close to the roof color.

I was telling the folks over on building that we have no consensus among the family or professionals. Architect says if we can manage the extra $$$, to go with Preweathered Galvalume roof and Chesapeake Blue windows. Builder suggests any roof and Midnight Bronze windows. My husband wants anything "white, black, brown or gray." My mom, who is living with us, likes any roof and Cranberry. My dad, who also is living with us, likes the Galvalume and Linen/Country Road. Personally, in no particular order I like all of the 3 roof colors, and window colors Country Road, Kodiak, Cranberry, Graphite, Stone Grey and Woodland Green :-P (that's the problem)

I was kind of hoping there would be some obvious choice but I guess not (I saw the other thread on black vs white windows and feel better that I am not the only one who can't decide). I think I will go get some colored pencils and start mocking up the elevations. Or is there a better way to go about this?
