What color is the wainscotting and the paneling? If it's white/cream then I could see the bathroom being just fine with the PO. You are right, there is not much difference in LRV (PO is 35 vs. 41 for DB.) A couple of suggestions: 1) find a floor lamp and extension cord and drag the lamp into the bathroom to check out the color to see if you do like it. 2) If it turns out to be too dark for you, have wide stripes painted in a lighter version of the PO. Use a glossy sheen and the lighter color will really pop out. Another bonus of staying with the PO is that you will have one fewer color/can you have to store for touch-ups :) Good luck!

Thank you Celerygirl for all of the mock ups....they are so appreciated! I['m still unsure at this point but what are your thoughts on shutters? Also, what is the closest Sherwin Williams color to your suggested Benjamin Moore Timber Wolf? I tried to google it with no success. I'm still so torn, Granite Peak was always my top but maybe a Gray is what I should go with? I literally can't sleep with this hanging over my head but I'm going to try, and probably like in the past, I'll dream of color and paint yet again! jck910 & katinparadise - I so appreciate your feedback too. Do you know what Sherwin Williams paint color is closest to BM Storm by chance? When you mentioned the blues weren't resonating with you, can you be more specific on the paint samples I have on my house? I wasn't sure if you were looking solely at the mock ups or those as well? (And I know have some dark blues in there) as well as some lights, the one on the left up top (Poolhouse) is my fiance's favorite but it's been a NO for me almost immediately. I think black/charcoal trim will be too stark of a contrast. I would do the sage green that you posted above with the bottom "white" of your paint samples, which looks like the softest white...and closest to all of your inspirations.

Please post a picture when you're done. All the best at this stressful time. I like what you have done so far. I don't see why painting quartz is any different than painting tile. Shiny things can be painted, sometimes even without roughing them up. The very worst that could happen is that in a few years you need to replace it. Or repaint it. Doesn't seem like such a high risk to me. In the meantime, you have something that you like the look of.
