What are You having for your evening meal?

I am going to fix salmon patties, mac and cheese, (homemade) and some kind of vegetable. Still have black raspberry pie left.

What are you having? It is so nice outside right now. Daughter came over after I puppy sat for awhile and we went to the ponds. Have a new kind of frog out there this year. I think it is the western chorus frog. It sounds different. We also have green frogs, leopard frogs and bull frogs. I hope there are no bull frogs in the ponds.

I think I will have breakfast for dinner tonight and one thing is for sure, no one will complain even if I just do peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. LOL

That sounds good to me. I forgot to add I was also having cantalope with our meal.

Still cleaning up leftovers from Sunday--- Had turkey and gravy - so added pasta, mixed veggies and topped it with the last of the dressing (yummy hotdish) Had leftover fruit dip (cream cheese mixed with marshmallow creme) I added some canned fruit (peaches and pineapple) Had some sanwich buns leftover, so I made garlic bread out of it NOW, I have leftover hotdish and fruit salad for supper tonight.

Tonight was our school fundraising night at Boston Market. Got off the bus from my 5th graders field trip to Disney Quest at 6:15, came home to use the bathroom and pick up my 7th grader to be at the teacher Talent Show at her school by 6:30 while my 11th grader went and got us Boston Market to eat for dinner at 8:30. Whew-I am exhausted.

Rhizo, it does seem like we've been eating (and cleaning, breading, cooking) a lot of clams, I'm almost a little 'clammed-out'....DH doesn't like to see them frozen. But they are close, plentiful, and it feels wasteful or something not to dig them the days the State has opened the beaches for clamming, so we eat clams ;) I can a few jars for dips, chowder in off-season but haven't yet this year.

Ancient grain oatmeal from Trader Joe's was my best meal so far. I woke up late today, in the afternoon. Now I'm eating lunch: Sonic jr. cheeseburger, which isn't great. I have some chicken thighs thawing in the fridge and bought some green beans and new red potatoes yesterday at a farmer's market when me and my daughter were running all over town. I mainly went for their peaches, which are usually wonderful, this time they weren't quite ripe. Didn't feel like thawing the chicken in the microwave and cooking the veggies. But am thinking of tossing this awful burger and just eating a peach. Anyway, going to make some of the green beans later with potatoes and onions. Will eat a little for a late night dinner tonight. Tomorrow I'll bake the chicken to go with the rest.

Had my meal at Jason's Deli: a serving of chicken salad and a good helping of their nuts.

DH is fixing braised beef short ribs. Don't know what he'll fix for sides. Don't care. I'm not cooking. I'll love it.

We have the survivor crowd over tonite. I have just pulled a sweet and sour meatloaf out of the oven. After we get back from the local happy hour at the restaurant around the corner, I will make mac and cheese, and rolls to go with while we watch.

Roast Pork Loin, potatoes some how, and broccoli.

Maybe the whole meal will be oven roasted.

We had grapefruit halves, a casserole of creamed dried beef and pasta topped with crushed tostitos, and a vegetable mix (snap peas, red peppers, roast potatoes.)

I am having my favorite that my husband cooked for me..
Eggplant Parmesean. He even cooked it for me and he doesn't even like it. Sweetheart!!

Leftovers tonight. We're finishing up a chicken and spicy rice dish that I made a couple of days ago. We're taking off tomorrow afternoon for a three and a half day weekend, so I don't want to leave anything sitting around.

BBQ baby back pork ribs - Safeway had the precooked ones for $7.99 a rack. And salad and a glass of wine.

Jammer called amd said he would be home tonight and what was I cooking for dinner. LOL I told him I hadn't cooked a meal in 4 weeks, but I would come up with something. So I cubed some pork steak and sauteed it with onions. Then I made some stuffing using the mix and put it all together. Jammer is very easy to please. He just called and said it would probably be 11:30 or midnight before he will get here. I think I'll go ahead and eat now.

I don't know. I have to take a truck load of dog food to the storage unit, a couple of towns from here, and unload it by myself. I guess I will get something from Taco Bell or Jack in the Box. Probably Taco Bell, since I won't have to get off the highway to go there. I have a steak, but I will be home too late tonight to cook.

I made lasagna. I make it with ricotta, mozarella and sweet Italian turkey sausage (much less greasy). My 6 y/o DS *loves* lasagna. It's always good when I can make at least one of the family very, very happy. ;o) He eats it like it's chocolate cake! Just as I took it out of the oven, he came bouncing down the stairs licking his lips saying "I know what's for dinner! I smell lasagna!" Lasagna night is the night he will out-eat even his 15 y/o brother. Can't get enough. Tomorrow night he will ask me for leftovers. Too cute!
