I had tomato soup with Goldfish...not very exciting

Mine wasn't really any better. We had clam chowder, DH had a sandwich of leftover fried clams from last night with his. We both had yogurt.

By the time I came in from weeding, and DH had cut our grass after work, loaded up the lawn mower and run down to an elderly friends and edged, cut hers, I had lost my inspiration to cook anything more balanced ;) I'll do better tomorrow.

I think as the weather warms..it happens...we had a lovely day here..only to get better and better for the rest of the work week..

I think our dinner tomorrow will be simple too..probably leftover chicken on greens.

Terri, we had leftover chicken on salad greens last night....while staying glued to the weather on TV. I made thousand island dressing, a favorite of ours but don't have very often.

Mor, I am jealous of those clams you enjoy so often! I SO miss living in an area where fresh seafood is readily available.

Rhizo, it does seem like we've been eating (and cleaning, breading, cooking) a lot of clams, I'm almost a little 'clammed-out'....DH doesn't like to see them frozen. But they are close, plentiful, and it feels wasteful or something not to dig them the days the State has opened the beaches for clamming, so we eat clams ;)

I can a few jars for dips, chowder in off-season but haven't yet this year.

Mmmmm, cheesesteaks. Love 'em but rarely have them.

Last night was leftovers mushed together. Leftover grains with leftover broccoli and leftover meatloaf. Sounds awful, looked like the dog's dinner but tasted great.

I keep reading that as "cheesecake" LOL
No dinner for me last night. Larry had leftover something or other.
