Please help me choose exterior paint colors for Ocala block house

Sorry I am not able to provide a photo of my house at the moment, but I hope you can help me anyway!

My split-level house is made of Ocala brick, a taupey, cream light colored limestone common in this part of Florida.

The roof is a warm brown (we didn't pick it). I am currently having the landscaping redone and a new door, shutters and walkway added.

The problem: what to pain the shutters, doorway and trim.

Right now the shutters are a dark brown. I don't like the contrast. I'm thinking that a monochromatic, almost tone-on-tone look might be nice. Maybe a light color against the light brick? Or even shades of light green?

I know this is vague, but if anyone has experience with ocala brick or just using monochromatic paints on the exterior, I'd love some suggestions!

Thanks.

(The house at this web address is not mine, but made of a similar brick: http://www.aprilfontana.com/properties/admin/photos/uploads/cidgecpvbpyb.jpg)
