Comments (5)We have a musty smell in a bedroom as well, although only in summer time. The bedroom had a leak (since fixed) so I think maybe it's related to that? Although it is not stronger where the leak was... So that's why I clicked. I'm sorry I can't help you more but some spray foam would seal up that crack. You could also stuff some paper towels in there and check them for moisture after a few days. Is there any plumbing in that wall or above it? You could also check the towels for moisture after it rains. I would keep the wall open for a few weeks and see if you observe anything....See Moreneed help with furniture placement in my awkward shaped bedroom!
Comments (3)Have you tried the bed on the facing wall? (I always like to see the headboard when walking into a room.) Wouldn't the vanity make sense in front of the window to take advantage of daylight? (Or does it have too large a mirror above it?) Then you can place the dresser on the diagonal wall and the Vittsjo shelves and standing mirror near the door. If the standing mirror just doesn't work anywhere, consider selling it and using a wall-mounted one on your entry or closet door. Alternatively, with the bed on the opposite wall, you could place the dresser where the bed is now (at the foot of the bed, iow) and the vanity where the dresser is now. Do you really need the glass shelves in the bedroom? Could they go anywhere else in your place? The unit won't look strange by itself if you consider the whole wall as a vignette and place art on it accordingly....See MoreHelp! Need Suggestions for Color in My Vaulted Ceiling Bedroom & Zinc
Comments (16)I love gray bedrooms I find them very restful This is one of my faves for sure but I usually pant walls in a bedroom after choosing bedding so is what you show what will be your bedding. I have no idea why the emerld unless there is some of that somewhere in the space . I love drapes in bedrooms they give a feel of luxury and also work well for light control. BTW you need much larger lamps and IMO the bench is too small for the scale of the bed . Unless you get a huge rug I actually prefer nice small ones on either side of the bed I even often use sheepskin ones for a really cozy place to put your feet. Can you take a better pic of the whole space ?...See Moreohforpetesake
