O.K. Well it seems that this is a great time to divide plants and I am willing to host a Plant Swap for this fall if there are enough interested persons. Please let me know if anyone is interested. This is a final call so we can determine how many persons would like to trade. Open to all Garden Club members from the East. I have had people reply from Kingston to Montreal. Dates could be Sept. 18th or 25th.

Michelle, i just emailed you. Here is what I am bringing. They are all small but grow fast in my garden: -Jacobs Ladder - a few of small plants -Sedum Autumn Joy - 1 small plant -yellow Stonecrop (the ground cover kind) - 1 tiny plant -Strawberries -Chives -I hope to also pot up the Lamium tomorrow. This one really spreads but it is very pretty and makes a great ground cover even for full shade. Would anyone want some lawn fertilizer? I bought it but could only bring myself to use one application before going organic. I lugged it to a local swap in the spring and nobody wanted it so i had to lug it back!

Weather.com is now predicting morning clouds/afternoon sun, so I'm hoping we're still on. I have two Barbara Mitchell daylily divisions, and five of the NOID pink daylilies potted up, as well as three Cryptotaenia seedlings. I didn't get to the Autumn Joy sedum, the bees like it too much right now, and I don't like the bees. I'm planning to completely redo the bed it is in next spring, so I might bring it to the spring swap. Here is a picture of what the NOID daylilies will look like when they bloom. They are all small fans, so might need even a couple of more years till they bloom. Looking forward to the swap. Alison

I have been unsuccessful making my last minute (always the procrastinator) travel plans so I am afraid I won't be able to attend the swap.
