On a canning forum the odds would obviously favor that a PC means pressure canner. Pressure cookers have no role in canning and neither do the other two, Pickle Crisp is a brand name so written out. When all else fails you can always determine the meaning from the context in which it is written. ------------- is there anyway to figure out the time a PC might take if you know a BWB takes a 1hr 25mins? No, sorry it isn't a mathematical formula or a simple "take half the time and add 5 mins.". There are too many variables involved. EX: even if you took the longest PC processing time approved for tomatoes which I think is either 40 or 45 mins., that time is for a less dense/more juicy food than your tomatoes that have been roasted. Add to that the fact that you add water (which is alkaline at around 6.0) to replace the juice that the roasting removed (which was borderline low-acid at 4.6) and you have another monkey-wrench in the equation. See what I mean? And that just scratches the surface. You'd be better off pressure canning your tomatoes BEFORE roasting using the approved instructions for that and then roasting them after you open the jars. Oils can sometimes help with blackspot but they are much less effective than the products you have been using. You will also need frequent reapplications. And while roses growing in healthy soil will be more vigorous and better able to withstand blackspot infections, garden roses that are not resistant to this disease will become infected even in the most perfect of soil conditions. It has to do with a genetic lack of natural defenses. Hybridization of roses for flower form, production, color and so on has produced remarkable garden specimens, but they vary greatly in their ability to withstand BS infections. The best way to handle this disease long term is to grow varieties with high inherent resistance. Your local rose society is a good resource to find these out.

I have not used that particular one but I have used many of the Nirsoft tools and have always had very good results and no problems. Now some of their tools for retrieving your passwords from your own pc or your wireless network will sometimes trigger a negative response from some antivirus programs those are false positives and due to the very nature of the tool, they do have a page on their site letting you know that may happen.

Here's the technical answer: When you *write* a file to a USB drive (or any drive) and Windows/Mac says the copy is finished, it's not finished. To speed things up, part of the file is "cached" in memory -- the copy finishes shortly after. You can disable this, but I wouldn't recommend it. "Safely remove" ensures that the data is completely written to the drive. If you haven't written anything to the drive, or if the file copy finished more than about 10 seconds ago OR the "busy" light stopped flashing (or whatever it does on your device, if such a light exists), then it's perfectly safe to remove the device with a few rare exceptions. If you did write a file and remove the device too early, that file will simply not be written to the disk. This is a slight oversimplification which involves the file system journal and other details which I'll discuss if anyone cares, but I'm just trying to give a rule of thumb here. It's never "wrong" to "Safely remove", but it wastes a little bit of time.
