Hudson Residence II - Kitchen

The robin's egg blue Robert Allen "Dwell" fabric in the kitchen window treatments inspired the colour palette (including the mosaic backsplash), is repeated on the backs of the dining room chairs and was the inspiration for the vestibule hand painted walls. This kitchen project was part of an extensive main floor renovation in which walls were removed between all the rooms to create one open space and allow clients to enjoy lake views throughout the main floor.

The original walls dividing the kitchen and dining room (and living room) were removed to create an open space and allow sight lines from everywhere on the main floor. More importantly it lets in so much more light and allows the homeowners to enjoy the lake views from everywhere on the main floor. The robin's egg blue fabric inspired many elements in the space including the kitchen sink!

Note these are quartz counters made to resemble marble but so much more durable.
