We were called back by one of our favourite clients for the fourth time to renovate their family bathroom, turn one bedroom into an office for the man of the house, and the home office into a bedroom for the young lady (aged four) of the house as well as to transform the downstairs family room for this family of three.

In order to give our clients what they needed in their bathroom, namely a walk in shower and free standing tub, we borrowed space from the adjacent bedroom (now an office) for a 36'' x 36'' custom shower. Then we lengthened the bathroom by incorporating a portion of the hallway and linen closet.

Once the space planning was done, we set about creating a striking and dramatic new design. The tiles we proposed for the bathroom floor set the stage for the space and we used the same tiles for one accent wall in the shower too. Different black tiles on the shower floor and in the niches (shower and bath) give the space real punch. Yellowish gold is used in the custom roman shade and ties in with the original artwork we found on Etsy. A pre-fab vanity in a unique design and colour gives the bathroom even more style as do the funky vanity lights and mirrored medicine cabinet.

This is definitely one of our favourite bathroom designs and the clients are thrilled too.
