Like many of us, sometimes a designated space stops working and becomes a catch-all. This was the case in this family room. By replacing the tired carpeting with hardwood floors, adding a wall of custom cabinetry for the television, books and storage and furnishing the space with a functional pull out sofa with chaise, ottoman and beautiful graphic rug, our clients now have a family hangout that is both functional and inviting. One of our favourite details is the "silhouette" photos we took of this family a couple of years ago and framed for the wall behind the sofa!
