Please eliminate all the red. It doesn't complement your orange/red brick. I'd use white, charcoal gray and or black as accent colors on this home.

I would remove the shutters. They don't belong on double windows. Paint the door black and have the storm door match. Paint the garage doors white. They are not a design feature.

I would also remove all the shutters so you can see what is really necessary to contend with. Looks like painting would be the biggest bang for the buck here. Paint garage doors white so they recede, and consider colors as mentioned above with possible grey/green shades too. When budget allows, focus on landscaping to upgrade curb appeal.

I agree with contributors and white or light gray is what I would recommend for trim. Garage door shold be white as well and choose a color or wood door for the front for the time beiing. Yes, shutters should be painted white until you get ready to address the siding colors. Removing shutters now will reveal dirt and discoloration under the shutters. Maybe you want to wait until you can tackle siding, doors, shutters all at once?

Will suggest that you paint the brick and siding on your house the same color to give it a more cohesive look. If you want to keep shutters on your house would suggest that you replace the existing, non-operable shutters with operable ones sized to fit the windows. Your roof looks like it has some age on it. So, would suggest your replace the roofing when you can.

The brown roof is a limiting factor. A medium gray would be more versatile. If as Norwood said it is close to time to replace it, then do that and there will be more color options for you on the siding. If it isn't time to replace it, look for a neutral taupey color for the siding and garage doors (just be sure not to lean yellow). Or sage green with cream trim. I agree with the others that the shutters can go. You will save yourself a lot money if you don't have them painted anyway. It's a pain to paint shutters. I never recommend painting brick unless it's really ugly, and yours is not. After all that is done you should turn your attention to your landscaping.

Paint the siding a nice green, lose the shutters they are not good with those windows at all.Paint the garage door the same as the siding which BTWW is great choice for brick this is an awesome color to go with and see how the trim and the garage door is the same . All of your comments are so helpful! Thank you! We actually do have a new roof, but is also brown, so I'm committed to that palette now. I never even thought of getting rid of the shutters, since that is what I am used to, but it sounds like a great idea. I don't think I can get rid of them without redoing the siding, correct? I imagine there are holes in the siding. I love the sage green idea! Maybe I can paint the aluminum siding if we decide against replacing it for insulation value. We do have landscaping, but this picture was taken in the winter, so everything is cut back. Although, that can certainly be improved! I appreciate the comments from everyone. Thank you!

I do the drawing in PowerPoint. I used the gray because I once had a gray wood siding house with a brown roof and it looked quite nice...

I like some of the gray options shown but would paint the garage doors the same color as your siding. Black makes them look like two gapinf black holes!
