Paint help for wood vaulted ceiling
Comments (8)My living area has trusses with 1x10 pine boards that are exposed. I originally painted them white in flat, since it is a "ceiling." However, about 1 year latter I went up there to dust the trusses and the dust just smeared more! I wound up repainting everything (trusses and boards) with standard bright white satin from Glidden. I love the glowing sheen. I think satin will work just fine for your case. If you happen to have pine boards with knots, use oil primer or BIN sealer for the knots. Otherwise, the knots will bleed into the white paint....See MoreHave an entry wanting to trim but with an angled vaulted ceiling. Help
Comments (13)The accessories were arranged incorrectly on your wall. The curved object it best placed next to the angled ceiling so it works visually. Looks like you added the barn board to get the white clock to show up on the wall but that just added to the visual clutter. Just paint the clock and 86 the barn board. The columns don't need any more detailing. Center your table under the chandelier and pull that overly large fake plant out of the dining room. Replace with some art or wall decor on the large wall....See MoreHelp! Need Suggestions for Color in My Vaulted Ceiling Bedroom & Zinc
Comments (16)I love gray bedrooms I find them very restful This is one of my faves for sure but I usually pant walls in a bedroom after choosing bedding so is what you show what will be your bedding. I have no idea why the emerld unless there is some of that somewhere in the space . I love drapes in bedrooms they give a feel of luxury and also work well for light control. BTW you need much larger lamps and IMO the bench is too small for the scale of the bed . Unless you get a huge rug I actually prefer nice small ones on either side of the bed I even often use sheepskin ones for a really cozy place to put your feet. Can you take a better pic of the whole space ?...See Morewhere can I find wood wall panels for tall, vaulted ceilings?
Comments (18)When you install feature strips on a wall it's usually applied to a wall where there are minimal interruptions. Not a wall that has lots of built-ins or accessories on the wall. Note how this installation was able to use the short strips effectively on a much taller wall. Your walls have too many distracting details for them to be effective as a wall treatment. Sorry but this is the best I can do to demonstrate how this would look on your wall. but IMO it doesn't suit this wall in its present state....See MoreFlo Mangan
