I find it interesting that in an earlier comment it was mentioned that the slabs are stored outside. However immediately below is an answer from QM about whether their quartz can be used outside. I don't believe 93% quartz and 7% resin is the amount used in Breton technology. When I spoke to another company which makes quartz in China, I was told that they use the Samsung method and that it is not heated to the high degree that the Breton technology uses. I chose not to purchase the quartz made in China. Can Quartz Master be used outdoors? Please note that outdoor use of our products is not covered by our Lifetime Warranty. Quartz Master’s products have not been tested under prolonged exposure to UV rays. Unfortunately, installing our products outdoors will render our Lifetime Warranty null and void.

HU, I noted that the brown color in the doors and door frames tends to soften or tone down the pink. You may want to paint all the cabinets and wood trim that color. Put the same color of wood on the tub facing. Paint the walls a complimentary soft creamy white and frost the shower door. Tada!

Only commenting because I have leathered steel grey granite, looks similar to your last photo. I have a busy kitchen with five kids... I love it because it seems impervious to any staining, doesn’t show fingerprints at all, doesn’t highlight crumbs but it also doesn’t make them impossible to find. (I used to have a granite that I would think I was wiping clean just fine, but I wear gloves when I clean, and as soon as I took my gloves off and ran my bare hand across the granite you could usually still feel crumbs even though you couldn’t see them. Drove me nuts!) Anyways, my leathered granite is super easy to clean, and stays looking quite clean even when it’s not really. I’d get it again in a heartbeat. Sorry, I don’t have experience with the other stones you’re considering.

@Lisa I do have a question for you! The thing that concerns me about Cambria is the heat comments. I would never put a hot pan on any countertop. BUT what about things like an All Clad Slow Cooker? Moccamaster or Nespresso Coffee maker? Instant Pot? What things like this needs something under them to use? Air Fryer.. I would think Vitamix would be fine? I think it would look awful to always have something under the coffee make or Vitamix. The other things are not kept on the counter. I have never had to use something under them with the granite countertops. I don't Have to go with quartz. If I do go with quartz it will definitely be Cambria. I thought about going with marble but I am a messy cook! I still want to see your blue when I go back to the beach. (My husband seems to be set on Cambria white! But that might be more due to him being tired of ldiscussions about the countertop.)
