Yesterday my young son wondered what garden roses he could eat, and we set out to sample what was in bloom. The first one we tried was great. Unknown rose possible America or Tropicana.

The other ones that we liked were:

Tajique

Lagerfeld

Paradise

Tiny Dynamite

Magic Wand

Love Ya Dad

Irish Cream and Joyberry did not taste good, as beautiful as they are in bloom.

I have never eaten petals even though I know many roses are used in foods and perfume. It was a fun experiment!
