Exterior Home Decorating Design Dilemma

Please help with exterior colors, metal and gutters!

Should the metal accents above the garage and front porch match my windows/doors? Or roof or blend in more with brick colors? I also haven’t picked out paint colors for trim or shakes. Or gutters. I’m assuming the metal accent and gutters should be the same color. I have two colors up for the metal right now. The dark bronze matches my windows/doors and the musket brown seems to blend with brick better. I’ve also considered the Designer Copper color. But I’m open to any suggestions. We’ve made so many mistakes picking out things I’m terrified to mess up again. Please any advice is appreciated!

White. Pretend they aren't there. Add groovy cool stuff elsewhere (like the pool bar!). Also go out of your way to be sure to get low profile ones like your old ones seem to be and not the easy-to-find kind of too deep for your house ones. You want them to disappear. Boxy is good. Did your house have them at all originally? I guess they're nice to have regardless, at least over doorways. (By the way, nice to see someone with an actual fence around their pool! GW seems to have an awful lot of people who don't mind drowning children. The pool building forum scares me. :P)

Personally I LOVE how your house looks right now, and I would not paint any of the wood I think it contrasts really well with the greenery and brings some warmth to the exterior. For the trim I like how the white of the windows looks and I would continue that on the trim but, if you want something different I think something along the lines of these colors would look good although the charcoal looks nice as well. Hope this helps :)

The stone sample is Eldorado Charleston Mountain Ledge. I’ve already puchased the stone so I have to stick with it. The house is mostly brick with the exception of rock on the front porch, columns and large gable on the left. I do have shakes in the other gables too. Sorry, I didn’t realize the roof was covered with snow in the picture but it’s GAF Weathered Wood. Thanks for your help.

Thought this might help too. My brick is Old Savannah with ivory buff mortar and my stone will be TN fieldstone. Roof is GAF Weathered Wood. Windows are Jeld-Wen bronze.

gutters are not accents, they should blend with the siding and disappear.

The top siding should be lighter or blend with the lower, don't want it to look top heavy.

I think the brown is more interesting than the gray.

Thanks for your thoughts. So you like the musket brown for metal accents above garage and porch but a lighter color for the gutters?
