Did you just tile that? The tile should have gone to the ceiling in the shower stall. Do you want a dark moody bathroom? I do, but it's not for everyone.

Why don't you do something fun with wallpaper?

Since you have so much brown going on, I'd prob choose a creamy white for the walls.

Alabaster? Shell white? greek villa? try some of these

this one has the same tone as the floor tiles and mosaic tiles. could also work.

Now, painting the walls isn't going to do much. Lets tackle the other stuff.

I'd look for a remnant white quartz countertop. or buy one. shouldn't cost you more than a few hundred. See? Like this one :

play up the natural, warmer tones and do all these other suggestions I mention:

bring in a woven pendant or ceiling light, maybe a jute/sisal type of rug. (obviously a smaller size)

get rid of all the cold ,silver metal and bring in soft gold, texture w/woven materials, wood, organic items. see these baskets? try them under the vanity or under that tower.

Do a wood tray on your countertop to contain your stuff.

bring in the wood mirror or a soft gold/brass mirror (c-other pics)

Even this turquoise bead light would be a natural compliment. (that track light has to go)

do some fluffy towels, baskets, plants

Pendant lights over vanity, hanging plants. white countertop

you could do a similar rug like this one in the warmer tones that match the tile.

see how nice the gold looks w/the wood?

you have the window, plants always make a bathroom better. look at how these rooms are styled

make a matching wood (to your vanity) shelf for extra storage. of put on over the toilet for plants. (again, gold mirror and sconces (or whatever type of lighting you can do)

A nice cool green to offset the beige, beige, beige

Clearly the tiles in shower have to go!! No , I bought this house like this. Previous owner did the work himself.

Asking because I have a bunch of spotlights that are chrome/brass coloured, thought they’d match better with black details. Unless I also change all of these spotlights as well to fit the gold tones

change the lights. I gave many examples. the silver/chrome doesn't work. track lighting, doesn't work. bringing in black isn't going to make them 'work'.

Black alone would be too harsh w/everything you have. that's why I mentioned the soft gold/brass. it's warm and would coordinate w/your neutral earth tones.

you see how you have the track light? instead, do some pendants (not these exactly, I'm just showing you the layout) unless you can wire in some sconces or over the mirror lighting.

the tiles in the shower isn't the main issue at this point. you could always get a Boho style shower curtain and cover them.

remedy the main part of the bathroom first.

if you want to redo just the shower tile, this Cloe tile in a cream color would be nice w/your flooring and vanity

This is the look I think would compliment your vanity and your existing tile. (but get a new vanity top)

a round or oval mirror would soften all of these angles. some mid century modern hardware would look nice on the cabinets. the gold plays well w/the wood tones.

I'd prob wall mount new faucets so you don't have that cramped faucet/cleaning issue. a plumber can run some pex lines up the wall and you'd have something like this

This creamy tile color is what you want on your walls. and if you can get an eletrician to wire in some sconces for the new mirrors, great.

You start off saying you want suggestions for paint colour then reading the feedback you're getting all kinds of very nice suggestions by changing the countertop, mirror, lighting, shower surrond tiles, etc. Realistically, what exactly are you willing to change?

I’m was only trying to make it look nicer until I decide to completely redo the bathroom, there’s a lot of stuff that do not work in this bathroom. So countertop is an easy fix , light as well , mirror … those are easy to change. But I have another design problem, I have a window on top of the counter and wondering if I should get a custom countertop/sink that would have the sink at the right (mirror sink light will all be aligned) and that would fit with this vanity or I go with something easy with sink in the middle. Perhaps I should just change the vanity all-together with the countertop but I wasn’t planning on doing that, below is my huge window. Note that the toilet bowl is in the corner right in front of that vertical storage.

So how about this...

Replace the tiles in the shower by 12 x 24 white tiles and install brass fixtures. I don't see the shower so can't say if you should install a glass door or simply a white waffle (for texture) shower curtain.

Replace the vanity counter in white with an undermount sink (with brass faucet), it will make the surface seem larger. You mentioned a lighted mirror, get one with a brass frame and install a sunburts style brass pendant. On the vanity install brass finger pulls on the drawers to give the vanity detail and a long pull on the linen closet.

A what mat and natural fiber roman shade in the tones of the wood of your vanity will complete the look along with a nice warm white on the walls in a matte finish.
