Help me decide on paint color please.
I am redoing my small bathroom and need help deciding on a paint color for the walls. The walls will be bead board and the shower tiles will be white 8 by 18 ceramic tile with white grout. There is one window for natural light.
The vanity is this one:
The floor tile is:
So I'm trying to decide between BM's Vale Mist, Morning Dew, or October Mist. I'm just worried they might be too warm. Opinions?

Comments (6)sueb20: I love the names of paint, that sounds beautiful and, interestingly enough, it was the kind of color that I wanted to find for the siding of our home; we finally went vinyl to my husband's delight. I found the color on BM's virtual fan and I'll be pulling that color when I go to the store next week. Comments (2)We are replacing our old cabs with new ones. Either factory or new unfinished with pro painted ones. Haven't found a cabinet maker we want to go with or anyone who can paint unfinished ones, so either would apply for now. I'm just concerned about how well the paint will hold up. I don't generally take huge risks in my own personal style, which is why this decision has been so difficult. kmarissa03, there is one window with a transom. It's a big window, but the fact that it's facing east means there won't be a whole lot of natural light, especially in the evenings when we'll be entertaining guests. I will be relying on the chandelier for light, and I think it will cast aplenty. jck910, so glad to hear you're happy with your dark blue! Did you do anything to balance out the color or brighten up your dining room? K Laurence, you are absolutely right, and that's what I keep telling myself. Paint is the easiest, most inexpensive thing to replace, so I'm glad to know I don't have to live with it forever if it doesn't look right in my space. I'd prob do white beadboard and a dark wall.
cheating heart would be pretty. (or go dark on lower and light on upper)
Peppercorn would work. if you want green, this one may work better
or do peppercorn on the beadboard, white on top
or try some of these greens. no yellow tones.

last yearAgree with Beth. I'd stick to very light blues for the walls which will work well with the grays. In fact I'm doing a similar color scheme for my own primary bath remodel.

last yearWhat is the color palette for your home? I love teal greens and have them throughout my home. I used BM Quiet Moments in my in my bathroom and SW Silver mist in my guest bedroom, but those colors worked with the teal green slate tiles in my foyer and the teal green in my area rug in my living room. Those colors work with the smoky purples and taupes that are in the rest of my home.
My sister's color palette is more fall colors, with olive greens and burnt orange and golds. Teal would look out of place in her home.
Selecting colors one room at a time can leave us with a home that lacks harmony instead of rooms that speak to one another and feel like one cohesive plan.
Here are some sample whole home color palettes.
The colors you have chosen work well with most colors. The grays are very cool, clean grays, so you have to watch for some colors looking a bit too muddy or dirty next to them, but most green grays will go fine.

last yearMother nature loves green leaves on wood and green pine trees with the brown pine cones. Green and wood is just such a prominent combination in nature that I can't see you going wrong adding green to your home. Everyone is painting all their wood white so finding pictures with wood that hasn't been painted is challenging, but maybe one of these will provide some inspiration.

last yearSo after about 10 different paint samples, I decided to go with white. I have sage green towels and shower curtain, and am considering changing the curtain to sage green as well
