Take a look at SW Natural Tan. I has an LRV of about 66-67 so it is light but has some beige looking tones. It falls in the Yellow Hue family in the warm segment. But it has a good amount of Chroma so it leans to a grayed beige. Worth getting a sample. BM Pale Oak, goes just a bit lighter and a tad more grayed. Silverpointe has an LRV of 64 so it is a bit darker/less reflective than Natural Tan. You have to get samples and I recommend www.samplize.com for good samples and a lot less hassle trying to make your own and then dispose of excess sample paint. They now have quick ship too. You have to try these in your natural light outside, at different times of the day and early evening. Not a simple decision to don't rush it. Take a look at those colors. If you want more of a "grayed" look, I can check out tones in that direction.

Exterior colors usually look lighter outside than inside, so taking your time to assess, to say nothing of the investment, is well worth it.

Pale Oak and Natural Tan both look nice. I also saw SW Relaxed Khaki here. Looks good too.

Ok. Relaxed Khaki has an LRV of 53. So it puts it in moderately darker color. Probably less “reflectant” than you are hoping for unless you are near the tropics and have intense light? It has a lot of Chroma (think graying) is right at line between warm and cool.

Neutral Ground is another light beige. I thin I'd like a charcoal/black accent somewhere, but this Warm Stone color is also nice.

What about this one? Relaxed Khaki on the body w/Fernland on the contrasting trim.

I really think you should get new doors, with glass. (and lights).

I gave you this dark double door in a rich wood stain which I think looks beautiful w/the 3 colors. and it suits the home style.

Going less beige, what about Swiss Coffee and Thunder? With the roof color I think you go more gray or charcoal

I like the color of the drapes in the window, a sage/gray tone. I think it would look nice with other two colors.

You mentioned Silverpointe.

I like that one w/these other two complimentary shades. the soft sage color would look great.

This one has a lighter roof, but I really like this off-white and the sage/gray accent. Notice the front door on this one. almost the same as the other I suggested.

Here's your Silverpointe with similar tones that work with it.

Some grays that lean a little greenish but coordinate w/silverpoint (on top)

This one is SW Alabaster and Pavestone.

Here's a shot of Pavestone. Gossamer Veil would be a good body color with it.

I need to choose a trim color. What color under STO colors would you all recommend? I am leaning toward a slightly darker taupe/greige color.

Thoughts? Inspiration pics?

P.S I thought I would be happy with just one color for the body and trim as everyone tells me it is more modern, but the house just looks like a big foam block right now lol. Cost me $800 to get back the option to paint the trim a different color. Doh! Better now than never!

Thank you🙏🏼 it only took 8 hours of sampling paints on the trim and multiple trips to BM and Sw. I was blind by the time I chose Greek villa for the trim. My neighbors must think I am strange. I still need to repair and paint all the exterior wood trim and soffits. Plus install black gutters. Glad this decision is done 🙂

black gutters? what if you did a dark copper or bronze?

A pure black faux slate brick roof is in the plan though. Still think bronze or copper gutters would look better?

That’s a before and after, with the stucco trim color same as the body color (looked monotonous). And after, with sw Greek villa trim mixed into STO Lotusan elastomeric paint.

I’ve noticed the color of the house, body and trim, in the rear is constantly changing depending on time of day and weather. Either it looks too cool, just right, or too warm. It is triggering my OCD lol.

Now to decide on wood trim colors for the doors, bay windows and roof fascia’s and soffits. Open to suggestions. Currently, thinking to use SW high reflective white or sw pure white whereever there is white paint. And, all vertical fascia’s that meet the shingles will be sw tricolor black or sw black magic.

Garage doors, considering sw illusive green, sw cityscape, sw Dorian gray and sw mindful grey.

After seeing these pics, I am now leaning towards a pure black door instead of sw greenblack. To save cost, I am planning to have the two existing entry doors professionally sanded and sprayed in high gloss black lacquer (SW Tricolor Black), and then replace all the hardware with new brass or gold knockers, pulls, peep holes and kick plates. I may add some studs/rivets on the perimeter edges like you see on furniture if my contractor agrees.

The soffits will be sw tricorn black. And the crown moulding and window frames will be sw high reflective white. Work done be done by next Friday!

Still need to decide on a garage color 🤔

those were iron doors. I'm sure they aren't cheap! But, they would really make the front of your home. check into custom iron doors in your area. or perhaps you could get something similar in the wood and paint them a zinc color.

as for security, get a Ring camera installed. if people are going to break in, it won't be through the glass front doors! trust me.

that greenblack is diff. But I'm thinking Urbane bronze. get a sample of that one and try it. (for the garage doors too

Believe it or not, those are 26.75” tall wall sconces. They replaced 24” units. Agree they could be larger in the front entry. I can’t really find anything larger than 27”?

Thanks! I got the front pathway, stairs and stoop fixed. Pavers are no longer sitting on dirt and sinking. Now on concrete and level with steps/stoop.

Paint color is lovely although I think I would have painted the garage doors the same as the house body. They kind of look like a cave entrance.

Interesting 🤔 I was going to use the much lighter SW mindful gray on the garage doors but they do not offer it in exterior oil paint, so then I decided to match the roofline trim which is tricorn black. I will get a better resolution pic of the doors. But I do see what you are saying now 🧐

There is new gold hardware coming for the front doors and garage doors. That may help too. Hopefully ! 🙏🏼🤞🏽😄

I took Beth’s advice and ordered larger front door entry wall lights. Stepped up to 31” tall lights from 26”. Looks much better :)

It’s been a challenge. That is for sure. It is still not done. Move in date was supposed to be this Saturday. But none of the bathrooms, floors or the kitchen are done yet :( Trying to extend my rent back now with the new owner of my current home. Oh the joys! I will have lots of updates on the interior as it was a full redo.

Hi Oyun, I used STO Lotusan paint in the color “silver lining” on the body. For the trim, I had Sherwin Williams Greek Villa mixed in to the same STO paint.

The black paint is SW Tricorn Black semi-gloss.

You will have to get a sample of the STO paint in silver lining and take it to Sherwin Williams to have them match it in to their paint. Should be close enough!

Yes there were screens back then. They’ve all been removed. Looks much better! Shimmering glass :)
