Exterior re-do - old stucco condo; window flashing and concrete ledge
Comments (2)My thoughts exactly - Although this board member seems to think a patch and cover job will suffice for both the flashing and the foundation sill. In my mind - we've got 55 years without major hassle and very little maintenance. Comments (9)Because your window frames are narrow, I wouldn’t do a contrasting color. This will only emphasize their small size. My instinct would be to pick a color, maybe something dramatic like charcoal or indigo, and paint everything same color. Including those metal posts. Then choose a very colourful contrasting color for door. Like lime green or turquoise. Some big pots on the porch in bright colours. Look for subtle ways to tie in roof color. (E.g. copper or rusty metal mailbox, house numbers, trellises, etc.) Your house doesn’t have a distinctive style so I think a bold unique approach is your best bet. Complement with simple, but not boring, landscaping. If nothing else, paint those white metal posts black or whatever color your window trim is. Will look way better. I had a white metal handrail like that on the front porch when we bought this house. Nothing else was white. Painting it black was a dramatic and cheap way to get some immediate gratification while I plotted other improvements....See MoreIs sandblasting always needed on old stucco before new stucco?

Comments (5)And other than a classic red or classic blue, I'd go with a classic yellow with white trim, or yellow with a mix white and sage green trim. :)...See Morealejandra b
