No longer watch it, but exactly 20 years ago, my toddler grandson loved to shout out letters while he spun the wheel of my garden cart , which was laid on its side.... Fun times! (That child turned 22 today. How did THAT happen??!)

I did tonight! I thought he resembled Lars as well.

Missed it although generally i dont watch it. I wonder if i can see it on the internet somewhere.. Interesting night for game shows.

I wish I had seen it! I do have a rather common look.

I was selected to be a contestant on Hollywood Squares back in 1989, and I went to the taping with my four changes of clothes (plus what I was wearing), but as it turned out, the week that I went was the very last week of the show for that season, and I had to wait for a male contestant in front of me to lose before I could go on, and that did not happen.

I think I would have made a good contestant.

Incidentally, since my brother works for Sony, I am disqualified from being on any game shows that are made by Sony, including Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy 😞

Ah, bummer. How about The Price is Right?

I suppose I could audition for The Price is Right, but I am terrible at guessing prices.

A cousin of mine was on Let's Make a Deal back in the 1970s and won a huge stereo console.

Unless it's changed, TPIR is a looong, arduous day. Not sure how they are picking people right now due to the small COVID audiences. I got tickets back in the mid 90's. You ahd to be there at the buttcrack of dawn to try to make sure you got a high enough number to get in, fill out a ton of paperwork and wait for them to come check everything. Once everything was verified, you left and had to be back at a certain time. Then when letting everyone in, you went by this big opening w/ the bigwigs and they asked a question or two which is your "audition" and how they picked the people to "come on down". We didn't get picked, but someone on our row did, and they had to walk by us to get to the aisle, so we did make it on screen. :) The whole thing took us 8-9 hours, including the break (about 2 hrs) that we spent across the street ant the Farmer's Market place.

I really do not like the long arduous days at game shows, and I've spent a couple of them.

I watches a Youtube video of yesterday's show before Sony removed it.

I can see the resembled between Josh and me, and I also think our voices are somewhat similar.

I've been told that I resemble a popular actor in Italy, but no one told me who that was.

Straitlover, I saw a program not long ago about TPIR. It followed a couple who have been trying for years to be on, and finally were. All their preparation in case they were selected (knowing prices of things and so on), the camaraderie of the people waiting outside, it was very interesting!

I get told I look like Drew Carey. Wait, no I don’t.

bpath, that sounds interesting! Know where I could see it? I love TPIR. It was a long day (we had to rush to Union Station to catch the train to San Diego), but it was fun.

I don’t remember where I saw it! Let me rack my brain, or Google’s brain lol

edit: Perfect Bid, The Contestant Who Knew Too Much was on Netflix. Not sure if it is still there, or is elsewhere, or is on video availavle at the library. oh, using ”Just Watch”, it’s on AMC with Prime, or to rent on Apple TV.
