Could you help me decide which green to go with bedding!
Comments (38)I really like the greens and think I would go with the lighter green. You've really got me rethinking my girls' room now too. I used light pink and have Pottery Barn bedding with big pink cabbage roses -- one with a pale yellow background and one with a pale blue. I was using dark pink accents. I think your green idea would be wonderful in my girls' bedroom too -- can I steal it?? ;) Oh, I have 4 year old twin girls as well. Are yours identical or fraternal? I have a blonde and a brunette. Lis...See MoreHelp me Decide What Colors to Paint My House. Photos
Comments (15)Just a warning on white. It does not hold up on the brick well and I have found it looks bad after a while. Grey, that looks nice and holds up well. there is a home decorating forum on here under "that home site" and they do a lot of photo-shopping of ideas including house exteriors. I posted my house on there and they did it in about 15 versions which included the landscaping. You might want to try them and if they help post a link on here so we can go see. I have included the link to my house. the thread is old so you will notice that a lot of photos are missing. Scroll down and you see many ideas they contributed although the best ones are missing.. Here is a link that might be useful: they helped me with my house...See MoreHELP me decide on a paint color!!
Comments (3)We did look at Fernwood green but we decided it was a little too "apple green" for us. But we did consider it! The rest of the house that we redid so far is pale yellow, pale blue, light grey, and light grey/beige/greige....See MoreHelp me decide what color should we paint our front door..
Comments (16)benjesbride, Oh thank you so much! I didn't even think about checking the coordinating colors for revere pewter! Ideally I'd have the house all white with a fun pop of color for the door but my husband would just about blow a gasket if I added another expense to our renovation lol. chloebud I'm actually loving both of those colors! I lean slightly towards the lighter color but I'm not walking away from the darker one either. I'll be getting some samples of those to try out. Thanks! Cheryl Smith Good point & good idea. As I mentioned to benjesbride, I so wish it was in the budget to have our home repainted white so we could do a sage green door or some other variation of green. Green is my favorite color and unfortunately the sage/mint colors that I love, just don't seem to go with revere pewter. (We just purchased the home already painted the RP color) loobab, Thank you for your suggestions! We are definitely changing up the landscape. We already took the rose bushes out and we plan to do some kind of hedge in that area instead. We typically like to landscape with evergreen plants and white flowers. I love green but I haven't found a shade that's not too dark nor too light that looks good with our Revere Pewter exterior. :/ In a perfect world, I'd be able to do a door similar to these colors: This one has an exterior closer to the color our home is painted now but I don't think it looks amazing. I think it would look better if it were a white home or something lighter....See Moreartsfan
