Omg....I looked at these at work today and didn't realize the picture was sideways...and colors on my iPad now are different than my pc at work. So now my picks are top left with cutout...I had picked this earlier. The other one I picked looks too gray now..it was the paint strip on the left, second from the bottom. I also kind of like the larger chip in the top row on the left...am just afraid it might be a little too blue. Clear winner for me is first one with cutout top left...it looks to have the right balance of blue and gray.

To answer your direct questions: Put the darker color behind the bed headboard and then decide if you want one accent wall (usually a lot of contrast) or if you want to have two walls each color. The Santorini Blue is not baby blue, but I would put a color swatch in your room to see how it looks in different light if you decide to go in that direction. Glass Slipper is more ice blue than baby blue. I LOVE the Santorini blue, but thought it was too dark to have on all four walls. Your bedding is very neutral and very pretty. When I look at it I think "irredesence" or opal. Everyone does this differently, but I tend to decide what I want a room to FEEL like and then go from there. For our bedroom I thought "sleeping in the clouds". Hence, I have blues, whites, creams and beige. For our bathroom I wanted "beach spa". I also suggest you look through the bathroom pictures on the bathroom forum. I found several inspirational rooms that worked with the tile and cabinets we had. I think one of the reasons you are struggling is that you are working with "what matches" instead of what look do I love. Love something, make it work in your room. Having said that, I think your tile would work well with blues, tans or many of the greiges. Whatever you decide, you are likely going to need an accent color since your bedding has wonderful texture, but only one color. Again, look at the bathroom forums pictures and here in gallary under "bathrooms". Which rooms catch your breadth or you say to yourself, "I want that feeling". Good luck!

I would match the brown he wants to the tree trunk out front. If you go too dark it will not look good. Your type of home is generally found in desert climates where dark colors absorb heat. That's why they are mostly painted lighter colors. With today's HVAC, homes have they begun to take on a lot of darker clay and earth tones. It can look odd to take them too far away from their original concept and colors but is is done. Here's a nice one.

What is the color palette for your home? I love teal greens and have them throughout my home. I used BM Quiet Moments in my in my bathroom and SW Silver mist in my guest bedroom, but those colors worked with the teal green slate tiles in my foyer and the teal green in my area rug in my living room. Those colors work with the smoky purples and taupes that are in the rest of my home. My sister's color palette is more fall colors, with olive greens and burnt orange and golds. Teal would look out of place in her home. Selecting colors one room at a time can leave us with a home that lacks harmony instead of rooms that speak to one another and feel like one cohesive plan. Here are some sample whole home color palettes. The colors you have chosen work well with most colors. The grays are very cool, clean grays, so you have to watch for some colors looking a bit too muddy or dirty next to them, but most green grays will go fine.
