I'd say your Wide Brim is NOT. The leaves look a little too narrow to me, but more importantly, if you take a look at the pictures of WB on HL you will see most, if not all, show a degree of corrugation to the leaves, there's none evident on yours. Seems to yours also is a little too shiny in its leaves, but that could well be because of the rain. If your "Francee" is putting up scapes already, I'm inclined to see it too was incorrectly labelled. Francee should be blooming much later. Best guess is that what you have in fact is 'Undulata Albomarginata' as I have a few of those starting to put up flower scapes as well already. Take a closer look at your F and see if the backs are dull or shiny. For F they should be rather dull and look different in color from the top of the leaf. BTW, it is very common for Hosta to be mislabeled at places like HD and Lowes. It's also very common for a lot of their stock to be virus infected, although none of your pictures show any of that.

You may have a very small leak that may require adding freon every year or so (but only a 1lb) or you have a new leak that is leaking quickly. It could be he doesn't have a "sniffer" and that is why he thinks it's a bad idea-sad! A leak can be found several ways and experience. Oil around some tubing may indicate a place to start, where soap may show it. If not a sniffer (example-H10 halogen) will work well. I have very good luck with both and if one is not sure a psi leak test and isolation method can be used. Do not put any sealant into the system! You have metering devices that depend on small openings to operate properly. Such things should be taken off the shelves! I agree that you should call another tech to look at the system who is prepared and supplied with the proper tools. Proper methods of charging a system depend on the equipment. The proceedures for charging are on the access panel on the outdoor unit and will include "superheat" and "subcooling" knowing wet bulb, outdoor temps, indoor temps and pressures. I've seen some with using temps and pressures only.

First, your bedroom is just beautiful. Love the paint and white trim. I think whatever you choose will look great. I have to say that I would vote for Lexington furniture. We have a Lexington antique oak bedroom suite that is almost 30 yrs old and it still looks fabulous. I did switch out the original headboard when we replaced our mattress going from a queen to a king. I wanted to add a different texture to our BR, so I went with a metal headboard. No footboard, we have the space, but also have two labs who wouldn't be able to jump up onto the bed if I were to use a footboard:). As for the nightstands, I have similar nightstands to the narrower stands in your pics. However, ours have a top drawer and the bottom has a door. Tops are marble. The narrow night stands don't take up too much room, and for me that is a good thing. We have a very large bedroom, but definitely didn't want to over furnish. Also, those with wheels really don't appeal to me. Can't say enough good things about the Lexington furniture. Everyone I know who owns Lexington pieces loves them. Would love to see a pic when you've finished the room.

I think they both will be bright b/c they're open toward areas with plenty of windows. However, I do have to say that Plan 1 has much more usable counterspace than Plan 2. Plan 2 is definitely short on usable space. One note...if you're not necessarily going with the stock cabinet placements, then you could probably make either kitchen location work... Will you be willing to move/add/change walls, windows, & doors? (Actually, Plan 1 would need the fewest changes to make it more functional.) I think that Plan 1 has many more possibilities than Plan 2... That may be one of the reasons you instinctively prefer Plan 1. A few side notes... I like the Master Bath better in Plan 1 as well as the garage. The garage is big enough to allow you to create a true Mudroom, if you want one. I'd love to have that garage so I could add a true Mudroom! You know, you could extend the Porch as a deck to the Master Bedroom and add a door to the outside... The net space of the Great Room is also bigger in Plan 1. In Plan 2, you need to subtract off approx 3' of that length b/c of the seating at the Kitchen's island. So, what you really have is: * Plan 1: 18' x 15' = 270 sq ft * Plan 2: 17'10" x 13'6" = 240.75 sq ft (I also like the FP wall better in Plan 1) Overall, I prefer Plan 1! I see a lot of possibilities in that plan!!
