To go panel ready or to go stainless steel... thoughts?

Hi All,

My wife and I are having a bit of a debate, and we can't decide whether or not to go stainless steel or panel ready for our appliances... Ultra rough rendering of our design is below, but you can get a sense for the general size / layout of our kitchen.

We're debating the dish washer and sub zero. For the SZ, we're going to get the designer series so it's flush with the counter, regardless of panel / steel look.

My perspective is that we go w/ panels to match the cabinetry, since we'll have a big steel range hood and a steel range top that will be central, and I'd just like the integrated cabinetry look on the right / left. Also, since the fridge will be somewhat in the corner of our kitchen, I don't really want to draw attention to it, but I also see her point that the steel look of the appliances is nice. Our cabinetry will be shaker style / transitional.

Anyhow, I know this is just personal preference, but for those of you that have had similar debates, how did you decide? Thanks!
